Filmed in the Meatpacking district in NYC! My city! This was filmed in a cold winter day lol & she was freezing! Selena & the Barrio boys banded together for a duet so Selena can became more well known in the East & so the barrio boys can become more well known in the West & in Latin America.

I got a big dish (southwest Missouri) soon after the time this came out. Probably no one has any idea what this is but there was a latin video music channel called htv (hispanic television). I watched it a lot. Helped some on my way to learning Spanish which is a journey I still walk on to this day. Loved this song. I was more of a pop latino kind of guy, but some of the other styled songs they played I liked too. Takes me back to watching it after getting off work really late to unwind before bed. I remember where I was when I found out Selena was murdered. It was at that work place.

I'm sorry I gave the wrong info. The Barrio Boyzz are from (Manhattan) Spanish Harlem, in NYC. That is why they are called the " Barrio Boyzz". Spanish Harlem is commonly referred to "El Barrio". They are a quintet made up of mostly Puertorican members, one is Colombian. They are Bilingual but, sing mostly Latin Pop and R&B. They are label mates with Selena; therefore, they collaborated together on " Donde Quiera Que Estes". Side note: I was born in Spanish Harlem but, raised in Brooklyn. I currently live in Philly. That is how I know about the Barrio Boyz.

Actually - this is a Barrio Boyzz song featuring Selena. It's the title track from their second album. Their labels asked them to record together to introduce each other to the other's fanbase. Selena hadn't broken on the East Coast and the Boyzz hadn't broken on the West Coast. The Boyzz are all New Yorkers and initially recorded in English. Barrio Boyzz can SING. You should get into their English language album, How We Roll. They do a fantastic cover of Stevie Wonder's All In Love Is Fair. But literally every song on that joint is straight fire.

If you pause your video on 2:16, the group member on the right, was so mezmerized by her, people say he left the barrio boys to become a background singer for her. You can see her at the astrodome concert. He left the Barrio Boyz because he fell in love with her during the filming of this video. Huge scandal back in '93 when this happend. Scandal because she was alrealdy married at the time. She never acted out on this. It was all him. But why would you leave a group to become a background singer right? It was shot in lower Manhattan on the west side, meatpacking district, back in '93.
