Jaclyn, I've been a long time subscriber and I look forward to your videos more than any other youtubers. When I watch you I am in my happy place and I forget about all the crap life throws at me. I was recently diagnosed with cancer and for 20 minutes just now while I watched this video, I completely forgot I had cancer for the first time in weeks. I loved this video. You seemed so relaxed and comfortable. Sometimes it feels like you're putting a show on for the camera (no hate, it's gotta be hard not to) but this felt like I was watching a good friend put their makeup on. So cozy. Loved it. More like this.

Literally just found her tutorials an hour ago and I cannot stop watching. First of all, they're super helpful for someone like me who has NO clue what they're doing. Also very entertaining because my attention span is quite short. And lastly, she's GORGEOUS? Like dang. I wish I looked that good when I first get up and have zero makeup on.

I watched this video with real life heart eyes the whole time and when it ended I came to the comments to see how much everyone else loved it and was literally shocked when I saw so much negativity. Are you serious? People will never be pleased lol. I love this look sooo much and DONT feel bad for using expensive products- you always use a wide variety of makeup ranging in price so I dont think its a crime to use a beautiful high end product just because you want to! ❤️😍

Bri B just a bunch of jealous ass people who can't afford high end products. I am not rich but I choose what I will spend more money on. If it's an awesome product and it's high end, I'll buy it. I have everything from wet n wild to my luxurious Wayne goss brush that I recently purchased 😍. Sometimes it's totally worth the price tag, sometimes you're simply paying for a name. There are tons of youtubers who use drugstore and there's nothing wrong with that but sometimes the quality of the products can take your look from great to fantastic! Perhaps those who envy her will do something with their life besides sit around on KZfaq and spread negative bullshit, then they might be able to afford some high end products as well.

This is my favorite makeup tutorial of all time. This was one of the last tutorials that she filmed, for the sake of the tutorial. Not to sell something, not to explain some scandal. It was filmed for us, just for the love of makeup and KZfaq. It almost makes me sad. I love the makeup look and I like this Jaclyn.

sorry, not the OP - but do not apply undiluted essential oils to your skin, mix a couple drops with jojoba or a carrier oil so they don't irritate your skin!

Same, Corrie. With lavender oil I did this on my pulse points without irritation. Tea tree oil, though--I've learned from experience, if you use it undiluted, you're gonna have a bad time!

OMG YES. I have a white ring light and every time I think ok my makeup looks good. I get in my car check my face in the car mirror and I look caked. Everyone looks better in white lighting unless you have really good baby skin. I wouldn't dare to put this much makeup on.

cravemakeup87 If you follow her on *any* social media outlets, you can always see the aftermath of her looks in natural lighting. For example, after this particular video was filmed you could watch later on her Snapchat and you can clearly see what the makeup looks like and appears in natural lighting! Or like many other gurus, after filming a video they normally upload a photo afterwards - rather it be Instagram, etc. And we have to understand the point of these videos is to follow along, or to see what products are being used. If she didn't use good lighting, people would complain. This is a very well put together video in which we can see all the details of the application and the products she uses. That's why it doesn't bother me that most every video uses "studio" lighting with professional camera lenses. Simply because I'm interested in the application, and you can try it out yourself to see how it looks.. It's going to look different on everyone! ❤️

Not that the lighting and backdrops and everything aren't amazing too but this was just like sitting down with a friend and doing makeup. I love Jaclyn- but the sad part is that she is easily twice as beautiful here, and it has nothing to do with her weight. Her idea of beauty has turned to super crazy nails, fillers, nose correction, being tan, lips so big she can hardly speak sometimes.....And I don’t like that people who are beauty experts can’t see that they’ve made themselves look less beautiful.

I am a recent subscriber and I do agree. She looks vibrant, fresh and youthful here. I like her none make-up tutorial videos more so than the make-up ones since I feel like the style or application is not relevant for me or it is over the top. I suppose there are people that are fond of such looks.

I haven't watched her in a while so I notice some difference! She now plumps her bottom lip too, and she's usually so pale with no makeup on but she mentioned having a spray tan on so that's why she looks so fresh and healthy. Made me want to plump my lips too! I saw Jaclyn hill alert and was like "stop everything" mood changed so quickly as if my world was about to feel complete , (palette launch date) then I saw it was just a tutorial and then I realized I screamed out loud for nothing! I'm so fascinated with how different makeup makes people look. She's absolutely gorgeous as her pure, fresh, and unique "girl next door" look (original morning look). Omg I haven’t watched you in probably a year and only because I was spending tooooooo much money buying EVERYTHING you talked about, I just couldn’t help it and ended up with a tonnnnnn of stuff that I don’t use and kept going back to my normal simple routine but now I came across your videos again with all the divorce and Vault drama and forgot How much I LOVE you!! You were my first Makeup KZfaqr I ever watched and you taught me how to do my makeup and now people ask me everyday “omg did you go to school to do makeup??” And my answer is “YES THE JACLYN HILL SCHOOL DUHH”...funny coming back to your videos and seeing the same steps I do now daily. The Dior Forever foundation used to be awful but then they re-formulated it back in March last year and I have been obsessed with it ever since! It is hands down the most long wearing and flawless foundation looooooooove it, the Lancome tient idole ultra is also really nice

Amy de Jong I have oily/combo skin as well and it is honestly one of the only foundations that I can wear which doesn't make my skin really oily by the end of the day. It is definitely worth trying, it also makes pores look a lot smaller

Riley Camille I haven't had any problems with it changing colour, I have had problems with other brands, especially pharmacy brands getting darker on my skin throughout the day but no issues with the forever foundation
