Lots of people think Jade was the toxic one, but I think Beck was. Jade was definitely super insecure and had no good living happening. Beck never helped her, but just added to the flames.

Everyone agrees that their relationship was toxic because Jade was overly jealous and in a way I think it was because of her insecurities. She was very jealous of every girl who even came close to Beck and in a way I think she had the right to do so as he never tried to stop those girls. I think that beck never tried to fight off those girls was because he didn't think much of it as he was very much in love with Jade that he didn't even think she would feel that way. Her flaw was to always jump to conclusions and never tried to actually have an honest and peaceful conversation with him about her troubles which would resort to him brushing it off as her being possesive. In her defense taking in her personality, who she is, which is very clear that she doesn't like people touching her things (in this case would be Beck (I know Beck is his own person but for the sake of explaining just bare with me)) she would try anything so she doen't lose him. She usually is very closed off which would explain why she doesn't try to communicate with Beck as much. At the end of everything I do think they were madly in love with each other but obviously there wasn't much communication. They compliment each other so well that it just FITS. For them to break up was very much needed, they had been together for so long with this miscommunication that they each needed time to think, process and have space. That was the healthiest thing for them to do in order to keep their relationship alive. I took this opinion or conclusion I guess based on my experience, the difference was that Beck and Jade survived. In mine the time to heal was wayyyy to gone.
