Thank you for the back stories. A little something toward the treat bags. 😂 I love how Almighty God, Creator and Sustainer of all that is, Cares for all Creation, including 2 legged and 4 legged. Then brings all manner of help into our lives, including broken people and animals. Blessings.

Thank you so much!!! I'll for sure get them something special. 😃 Everything I make from KZfaq goes straight to them. It's amazing how God sends you things right when you need it most. Jake was a miracle for me. Right from day one. And Jake's half-sister Coco, I thought she was my soul mate in animal form, as crazy as that sounds. She got me walking miles. There's something really special about these guys, I don't know if it's the wolf in them, or maybe God just sent me the right animals at the right time. ❤️ 🐾

Those are such powerful experiences and beautiful to read and learn about. I so much appreciate your videos. I was blessed to have a dog to call a soul mate. Oddly, these fascinating animals can be a great catalyst for deeper understandings of our relationships to our own souls. Dogs/wolf friends, just dont have the type of resistance that humans do, to their own divine natures. I do truly believe that those who are kind to them, earn some kind of brownie points with the Universe.

He really is 😃 If it wasn't for him, I'd have never got Coco or Honey. They're truly all magic. There was a lot I left out of the story cause the video was getting so long. Mrs. Owner, you were definitely cutting onions while making this video because my eyes were leaking. I had no idea that Bobba had gone through abuse, PTSD and widowhood in his life. I didn't even know that Jake was his brother in-law. And to think that Honey (the stargirl of this channel) annoyed Bobba out of depression sounds somewhat hilarious. Bobba, Hello! If you can hear me, I LOVE YOU! ❤ Back to Honey. If not for her, not only would your KZfaq channel not have blown up in popularity, but we would never have had the grace to behold the talking dog that's Bob Barker. 🐺🐶🐺🐶 You got some miracle pups right there Ma'am, and I say Thank God for that.

That's so true. If it wasn't for Bob, I'd have never gotten Coco or Honey. He's the magic glue that brings them all together. There's so much I left out. When I got Bob, they only wanted me to foster him for a year. I foolishly agreed because I didn't want him to end up at the pound. I thank God they never came back to collect him. I'd have told them no. He was so easy to fall in love with. They've really all changed my life for the better. They're each miracles straight from God. I love that God is dog spelled backward. 😃 ❤️ 🐾

My Grandma had a wolf that was 1 year old when I was born. I had to be by her even though she played rough with me. When her pups were born she wouldn't let my grandparents near. They warned me to stay away but later found me in her dog house. She was fine with me. I had to later hand each pup over when they were older to be given homes. She lived until I was 18 years old. I hadn't seen her for years and went by her. She growled, her eyes cloudy but when she smelled me she whimpered and wagged her tail. I held her for over and hour. 😢❤ Love your vids.

So glad you saved Bob. Horrible, when dogs are passed around. Poor Bubba to have been abused by those kids. And shame on the parents for allowing it! Feel bad about Jake's sister. Bet she was pretty. Across 9 states for Honey... thank you. And the same birthday... it was meant to be. There are no coincidences in life. Bob's back moving up and down as you were giving him scritches was funny. Just the back of Honey in the distance on the deck, with that pretty long tail hanging down was so cute. You are amazing Christie... the dogs gave you purpose and are your purpose, bless you. They are angels in fur coats!

They really changed my life for the better. It's funny that it was Bob that brought Coco and Honey to me. He's the glue that really ties it all together. There was so much more I wanted to say, and I should have made an outline of their story so I could have utilized the time better, but then thought no, I'll just see what comes out.😃 I left out another part about Bob's story. He was originally supposed to be a foster. They wanted me to agree on letting them come back for him in a year. It was that or the pound. I foolishly agreed. They showed up every weekend for a visit for the first 3 months. At that point, I knew It would have killed me to give him back. They slowly stopped coming after that. Once the year came due, I was terrified they'd come calling. They never did, thank God. That trip to get Honey was crazy. I was gonna fly, but the airlines wanted me to shove her under my seat. I even asked if I could buy her a seat and kept her there, but no one at the airlines could tell me if that would be okay. I exaggerated a little bit on the 9 states, I drove through the corners of Utah, Iowa, and Arkansas, but we hit 9 of them. Those were the only 3 states we didn't try to desperately find dog parks in. I wanted to give Bob a place to run every day cause I could tell the car ride was not his favorite place to be. I should have filmed Honey at them. She didn't know what to think. I didn't realize how much change she experienced when we picked her up. She stayed outside in and out of her den until we got her. She experienced long car rides, a new hotel every night, strange creatures at the dog park, a leash, it must have been such a shock for her. ❤️ 🐾
@janetcrudele5275
@janetcrudele5275 3 ай бұрын
@bobandthewolfdogs That's crazy, they wanted you to shove her under your seat. I agree, it was on top, on the seat or, drive home, which you did. Thank God they did not come back for Bob. People are so shallow. But, it worked out for the better, 'cause Bob got the best mamma ever. Yes, dogs do change our lives for the better. They are everything... good and holy and deserve all our love.

Great job! Good story. We shouldn't forget about Nikko though, Jake's first animal buddy and alpha, an aging cat who was with our daughter when she picked up Jake as a puppy. Jake adored Nikko, They even slept and played together, where Nikko would intimidate Jake by sitting in the doorway, if he didn't want Jake to pass. Another heartbreaking story, because when Nikko died, Jake took it pretty hard, even tried lifting Nikko up with his nose, to make him walk again. Nikko was part of why Jake turned out to be the most gentle animal we have ever known.

Awww poor Bob! He's been through the ringer. He's lucky to have you guys. When I was little my parents had a Norwegian Elkhound and a cocker spaniel. The cocker was 4 and the Elkhound was turning one. They were very close. The cocker had dug a little hidy hole under the doghouse they shared. A nasty thunderstorm came a it rained hard. She was under the doghouse......and got stuck......the Norwegian did everything he could to save her but he couldn't. She drowned when the water filled up the hole. He (Elkhound) was devastated! I had just been born around this time so luckily he latched onto me as his new best buddy. That got him out of his depression and funk. Everything time it stormed after that he lost his mind.

She was also just recovering kennel cough, losing all her puppies from it and living on the streets. She is still the sweetest most loving dog, regardless of her past. Wow, that was a "heavy" but also "heartwarming" story. Glad to see that things have worked out more than just well and what a beautiful coincidence about yours and Honey's birthdays. We can totally relate how a recued dog can "rescue a family" as well because that's our "Chevy" story too. Aren't dogs beautiful?🐾💙🐾

I went hard core crazy with my diet. 😃 I went vegan for almost 10 years, I do eat fish and chicken now. But I loaded myself full of as many fruits and veggies as I could. Tons of carrot juice, green smoothies that consisted of spinach, kale, vitamineral greens, a banana, and apple juice. Nut cheeses, which I still couldn't find one I loved, lol. And blueberries, lots and lots of blueberries. There's a bunch of KZfaq channels I really took advantage of for eating with autoimmune disease. I'd also mix turmeric, pepper, and a little oil in everything I cooked. It works just like advil without the side effects. I used to pop advil like tic tacs. After a year, I developed ulcers. I'm still looking for something that'll work for my back. My spines collapsing. Unfortunately for that I'm in pain management. My daughter is a dietitian, so that helped as well. ❤️ 🐾

sweet bob, honey knew he needed her,the bond those 3 have is beautiful, and that shows too that dogs/wolves may have some stereotypical traits yet are still individuals with their own emotions,and likes,dislikes ect. My husky just lost her 16 yr old pit sis who was just a sweetie like Bob. We both are heartbroken,and we know a dog in need will be sent to us,by my Deja for her sister,bc when we lost Dejas mom she sent us Luna for Deja(& me and my ex) and was the best thing ever, the bond they shared was unbreakable . I believe in signs too. Our animals are always with us, they even send us little signs.

When my mother was ill she was advised to go for walks every day, so she brought home a rescue dog (without talking to me first!) to ensure she would keep up with the exercise. She's back to good health now, but the treatments they put her through proved too much for her to walk anywhere else but around the house. Yet the dog still had to be taken care of. The dog I was against getting in the first place (because I know my heart). However, Cooper had been through five homes already at only 13 months old, with multiple abusive humans and the scars to prove it. I couldn't pass him onto someone else and potentially more abuse. I hadn't wanted to get a dog because I knew I would be caring for my mother and having mental health issues myself (PTSD, social anxiety disorder), I was afraid I'd get overwhelmed. My mother, as much as I love her, can be impulsive. Cooper was the sweetest boy. I can't imagine why anyone would want to hurt this dog with a wide-open heart and more desire to be a good boy than any other dog I've ever seen. I couldn't understand why people kept passing him on when he was so smart and expressive and just a joy to be around. In less than a week no matter how hard I tried to guard my heart against him I fell absolutely in love with the were-beagle. I knew, this was it: Cooper was The Dog of My Life. And I think I was pretty good for him too because his nightmares eventually stopped after a couple months. His enormous heart proved impossible for the previous people to break. It's like he'd forgotten all that had happened to him. If it weren't for the scars you'd never believe he'd been an abused dog. And more than anything, he loved to sing. Luckily my neighbors also loved him to pieces and never complained about his outstanding lung power. Cooper saved my life, every day. He got me out of bed every morning, he insisted on all spaces being clean and tidy (or he'd bark), he kept me on a schedule, exercising, and he was always ready for anything. We spent 24/7 together and I cooked nutritious dinners for him every night and all of his treats, so I knew exactly what was going into his little body (all were vet approved). The vet said he was one of the healthiest dogs in his care at every wellness check. Which is why it was such a shock when we discovered, way too late, that he had lymphoma. I don't know if it was because previously his other humans had damaged his thyroid (if there can even be that connection with lymphoma) or if it was just unbelievable luck. At any rate he showed zero symptoms until all of a sudden he seemed really depressed and kind of all-over swollen. We brought him in immediately; the vet rans some tests and then gave him a month, but Cooper died in my arms two days later, last October, at eleven years old. It just happened so fast. More than anything, I miss his song. Sorry for the book. I don't know why I did this to you.😅I think it just felt like a safe space to talk about him. Your beautiful wolf pups are so full of personality that they brought a little piece of Cooper back to me, even if only for a minute. I appreciate that so much. Love to all of your four-legged family (and your two-legged family as well).

I love Cooper now 😃 I've got tears streaming down my cheeks. It never ceases to amaze me how God or the universe brings us soul mates, especially when we think it's the last thing we need. I'm so broken hearted to hear he's no longer with you. I lost one almost two years ago. It decimated my soul. I swear my Coco was my soul mate. I know soul mates are supposed to be people, but I think animals are as well. At least, they should be. 😃 She was only 3 years old and Jake's little sister from a later litter. She was 75% wolf and the most dog like wolfdog I'd ever met. One day, when we were walking in the woods, I noticed she had a slight limp.i had to double and triple check, but it was there. She had a vet appointment a week later for a cyst on her back. While she was under anesthesia, they x-rayed her leg. The vet thought it must have been a bruised bone or pulled muscle. 3 days later, the vet called and said her cyst was not cancer. I was so happy. She had to take it easy that week so the stitches could heal, but out of nowhere, her limp got 10× worse. I called the vet, and he thought i was nuts but agreed to see her in the morning. This time, they took an x-ray from another's angle. It was cancer in her shoulder. I called a vet oncologist that day. The next appointment was in 8 months, but they told me that if anyone canceled, they'd call me. We got in in 2 weeks, and by that time, the cancer spread to her chest and lungs. The oncologist said they never had a case that spread so fast. Normally, if you do nothing, you have two years. Coco only had two months. It was just awfully painful for her, and the cancer got so big in her shoulder that it ripped open. It was covid and a Friday night, and no one could see her for a couple days. That poor girl was such a strong trooper. I brought my mattress from my bed into my living room, and we slept together every night. I had to get up every 3 hours to give her medication for the pain. I still miss her terribly. When it's my time to go, I want her to be the first person I see on the other side. I think about her every day. She was the love of my life. ❤️ 🐾

@@bobandthewolfdogs I'm so sorry! I know exactly how you feel. Cooper died just hours before his next appointment and of course, it was on the weekend. I don't think it would have made much difference but the amount of pain he suffered!! because no one wanted to give him pain meds with steroids. The agony he went through will haunt me forever. All I could do was lie with him, like you, and let him know I was there. The tremendous amount of guilt I feel will never leave me. There's a large part of me that doesn't want it to. I feel like I should suffer as he suffered. I should have pushed back against being called a helicopter parent. I should have insisted they did more "unnecessary" tests. Dogs will hide their pain until they can't anymore; they don't slow down just because they age. Not all at once. I have a feeling Coco and Cooper would have been amazing friends. Cooper always thought he was a big dog, but he was also the dog who had butterflies and bees land on his nose, he was so gentle. I've seen some videos of your own beautiful girl and you can tell her personality was as huge as her heart. 1 and a 1/2 gentle giants to play together. Coco was such a good advocate for wolves/dogs that others are so irrationally afraid of (and so are you). Their care may be a somewhat different but any serious damage is probably the fault of their person. Something that education easily fixes...unless that person deliberately "feeds the wrong wolf." I honestly don't know what I believe in. Before Cooper (BC!😅) I was at minimum a skeptic. Now I see why religion can be so important to people. In the absence of our loved ones, to believe their soul just dries up and disappears is more heartbreaking than words can express. I've lost people before but -- being completely transparent -- it took work to mourn them. Sometimes families can be extremely toxic (Mom being the exception of course). I realize how lucky I am to have known such a beautiful boy and I try to only remember all the good things. The incredible journey we went on together! I'll never be the same, but maybe that's a good thing. Maybe our memories are all we get. But I will treasure every single one. Can I ask you, how did it feel to get another dog/wolf/canine? I sometimes think I want another, but knowing they won't be Cooper just shuts that down. Another dog would bring another journey but I'm so afraid of erasing the one I've had. Or conversely, applying what I've learned from Cooper to another dog might feel like a betrayal because these things weren't done for him. I've been in therapy before but there was a problem with the last one. It kind of soured the whole experience with me, at least for now. Thank you for talking about this with me. Mom tries hard but there are ways in which we're very different (and that's okay). She doesn't really know how to help. I'm not the most trusting person so there hasn't been anyone else to ask. But you've been exactly where I am now. I'm not happy for your suffering of course, but I'm so happy you're out there to take care of these wonderful creatures and give them such a loving home. It's wonderful that you share this with the rest of the world. Thank you for doing all this.💜

Your stories and talking always touch sth inside me! ❤❤❤ And they leave a feeling of a mixture of grounding, calmness, a bit sadness (because I have the feeling there is still sth going on in you), madness, joy and admiration.❤ Thank you very much for sharing this story - this was/is quite tough for a few of you! ....and it also confirmed my inner voice about you 😅 God and the universe are sending us little signs. We "only" have to see and understand them. Believing in those signs and trusting they are showing you the way to your best life, although the way might be rough and uncomfortable, was the best I ever did and still do. Everything happens for a reason! Take care, all the best, I am thinking of all of you! 🙏

I let myself slip a little now and need to go back. But I went hard-core crazy vegan for 10 years. I just started eating fish and chicken again about 2 months ago. But it was a radical change. I stuffed myself full of as many nutrients as i could. I ate tons of fruits and vegetables. Lots of carrot juice, green smoothies, and blueberries. I got tons of help from KZfaq channels and even took a local cooking class on eating for autoimmune disease. It made a huge difference! I was in bed for almost a year. It was really bad. I got so desperate and saw every doctor and specialist out there. None of them mentioned diet, and it was the only thing that made a difference. I've always eaten for pleasure, whatever sounds good. I had to change that thinking to what's going to heal me. If it doesn't heal me, it isn't food. It's hard to get into that mindset, but once you do it, it gets easier. I've been spending my energy now on what's best for the pups. 😃 But I've got to start stuffing myself with those nutrients again. It really loaded me with energy. ❤️ 🐾

I'm sort of going through the same thing right now. I have a one year old hound and a 3.5 year old cat and the can just laid down with me and died in his sleep one day a few weeks ago. Completely unexpectedly. He was young, healthy, no warning signs. But the dog saw it all happen. Saw me realize the cat wasn't waking up, saw me spend nearly an hour trying to revive him. Chest compressions, mouth to mouth. The dog saw it all and saw me decide he was beyond help. The dog tried to wake up the cat. Nudged him with her nose, licked his face, pawed at him and she also decided the cat wasn't going to wake up. So the dog kind of pushed me aside and laid down with her head on the cat and just cried. It was the saddest thing I've seen. And since my cat died, my dog has been troubled, destructive, needy, can't be left home alone. So even though me and everyone in my family wasn't really ready for another pet I knew my dog couldn't go on that way. She was getting worse every day. So, we picked up a puppy, a black lab, just a few days ago and my dog has a friend again. I sometimes feel like I'm not ready to take care of another puppy right now but I know it's the right thing to do for my dog.

I'm so sorry you went through it, too. 😢 We fall so madly in love with them. Our poor dogs go through it, maybe even harder than we do. It's their best friend who they spend every minute with. I'm so glad you got the new puppy. It's a new ray of light, sunshine, and hope. It's a transition, for sure. I still cry when i think about Coco, but sometimes those tears turn into a smile when i think of some of the sweet things she did. ❤️ 🐾
