Maida -450gm
Dahi- 2 spoon
Baking soda( in last before frying) chutki bhar
Water- as needed for smooth and thick texture of batter
Jaggery / gud Chasni -
Gud/jaggery- 500gm
Water-500gm
Elichi-4-5 pic
Sauf/ fennel- 20-25 gm
Lemon 1/2 (optional)
Oil for frying
Mix the jalebi better rest for 30 min
Add baking powder before frying
* 1. Shrunk jalebi - over fried or fried on low heat.
* 2. Flat jalebis - oil not hot enough, made on low heat.
* 3. Thin & flat - runny batter
* 4. Thick & soft jalebi - Too thick batter
