Jalen Hurts is a stud, but lets not negate the fact he has a top 5 reciever in AJ Brown, Devonta Smith who eclipsed 1,000 yds this season, Dallas Goedert, Miles Sanders, and a top rated O-line lead by a first ballot Hall of famer Jason Kelce. The defense led the league in sacks and the secondary was sensational. That is a amazing roster period. Then we look at what Lamar has to work with. The Ravens have never had a pro bowl reciever! How is that possible in a passing league? They trade Hollywood, pay Roquan Smith who just got there, and Lamar has carried them since he took over. Put Lamar on a loaded roster and I assure you great things will happen. He's a former MVP! I'm a Bengals fan, I hate the Ratbirds but the disrespect is ridiculous.

They then traded for AJ Brown to give them a Top 5 receiving tandem. Something the Ravens fail to do every year. Hollywood was his only 1,000 receiver not named Mark Andrews who is a tight end. So yes Jalen Hurts has deserved every penny. And Philly has made Jalen Hurts job easier at QB!!! Baltimore put themselves in this position by having Lamar Jackson to more than he should.

The way this guy improved from 2021/2022 to 2022/2023 season was impressive. Off field he now shown us his a grown up securing himself with this extension just as Mahomes, Josh Allen, Kyler and I suspect Herbert and Burrow will do. To be fair Jalen hurts does have a complete team. Great O Line, a great number 1 WR a Top 10 Run Game and defense. Lamar doesn’t really have much to work with besides a solid defense but even still they are riddled with injuries.

I'm a Washington fan for almost half a century. Not a big fan of Philly sports, but I REALLY SUPPORT AND LIKE Hurts. He's a true athlete so far from college to NFL. A solid contract with $180m guaranteed. Jackson should learn from this because he's asking for $250m-300m guaranteed. Jackson should be MORE THAN HAPPY with $130m-$140m guaranteed.
