I experience dystonic tics (I have an undiagnosed tic condition), and although it’s only a form of tic I experience-I understand it can be painful and strain the body terribly. I usually experience it when sitting down, standing still, or writing. It’s very temporary in my case, but my heart goes out to everybody who struggles with this on a daily basis. You’re very strong

My neck isn't always that evident but I still have it. I had a spine & neck specialist/sports medicine doctor finally figure it out. It even affects my occipital nerves running up behind my ears, causing migraines. I also have JME (Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy, which in my opinion, has either caused it or exacerbated it). I only recently received the diagnosis, even though I've had the issue for at least 20 years. I finally know why I cannot wear glasses/sunglasses. Thank you for the video.

So sorry. My patient had a migraine and the next day she had cervical dystonia with head tremor. She saw a neurologist in Oklahoma City and was diagnosed with psychogenic head tremor which resulted in muscle spasms in her neck. One year later she gets to see a movement disorder neurologist at a residency clinic in Oklahoma City and they tell her she's having withdrawals when she's having her neck spasms. See diagnose Dana

mine is total body distortion, like exorcist The only medication that would help me is no longer available. Manufacturer quit making it. This happens inside and outside body. All of my organs are spasming, as the outside is. As a result, I have heart, kidney, neuro, gastro specialist involved in my treatment. NONE of which know how to treat this condition. Ironically, my eye doctor know more about the condition, than any of my "specialists".

How did you get it? Can you feel your insides spasm? Did you do anti depressants that might’ve caused it?

AD caused my dystonia. It is Meige’s syndrome. It started with akathisia and progressed to my face (eyes, mouth), neck, shoulders, torso, hips, arms, legs, and feet. 3.5 years after discontinuing the offending medication, it is “just” orofacial. I do know someone in the UK that had akathisia and severe total body dystonia that was helped by DBS, so DBS even helps people with psychotropic drug damage. It didn’t help his akathisia, though. I also have tardive akathisia, as well, now too...
@mommyharris11113 жыл бұрын
@@lisalisa13green have you ever tried Reiki? I know it sounds crazy to some people, but for those who are willing to try anything to get better, I feel that our body, mind, and spirit have to get back in tune when they get out of balance. I just did a complete detox from all AD’s after almost a decade of being prescribed for epilepsy and anxiety problems. What a purge my body went through getting years of trapped emotions out. AD’s are so unhealthy for us because we need to be showing and purging emotions in a healthy manner. I think many of these conditions are caused by the body being out of balance in my opinion. Best of luck to you Lisa. I wish you all the best.

you wont get out by yanking at your neck, this is coming from the brain in the form of nervous system responses and emotional baggage. A combined approach is needed, commitment, then you'll get your solution. I have this in my whole body, not just neck. I changed my diet to complete plant based, exercised enough but not too much as this drains the system and fatigue is a big contributor to the onset, movement, dig, hop, wander, dance, frolick, play, get off your fucking phone, physical tough, i dont mean sex, i mean hugging, cuddling, love, then the heavier work - hypnosis, clear out your emotional/subconscious system and avoid putting anything back in there that is negative, think positive clean thoughts as if you were good christian boys and girls. Sleep, sleep is massive, you sleep you win. And the biggest, learn to relax, it will take you a whole life time especially with this condition, but THIS should be your only goal in life now. In a stressful job, leave, hate your family, leave, want to climb a mountain go and do it, live your truth and then your body wont be contorting in the agony of knowing that you're wasting your life. 1) CLEAN YOUR DIET UP COMPLETELY! SERIOUSLY> 2) STOP THE DRUGS BOOZE AND SMOKES UNTILL YOU HAVE A HANDLE ON THIS, inc CAFFEINE and especially pharmaceuticals (EVIL POISIN) 3) GET OFF YOUR PHONE AND START LIVING AGAIN 4) EXERCISE - BUT DONT WEAR YOURSELF OUT - THAI CHI - QI GONG 5) HUMAN TOUCH AND CONTACT 6) HYPNOSIS - THIS SHIT WORKS - BUT YOU HAVE TO COMMIT TO IT UNTIL YOU'RE OUT THE OTHER SIDE< NO MATTER WHAT SOME SHOW PONY TELLS YOU, YOU CAN NOT HEAL A TRAUMATIC CHILDHOOD IN ONE SESSION ( OR WHICH EVER TRAUMA CAUSED THIS HORROR SHOW IN YOUR NERVOUS SYSTEM) 7) MEDITATION< GO INSIDE AND BE YOUR OWN DOCTOR - YOU OWN IT TOO YOURSELF. AND REMEMBER KIDS - YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL INCREDIBLE CREATURES OF THIS EARTH, FULL OF LOVE AND PERFECTION AND PURPOSE. DON"T LET A TREMOR STOP YOU FROM BEING ALL THAT YOU ARE - BUT KNOW YOU HAVE THE POWER TO SEND THAT PULSATING CUNT BACK TO WHERE IT CAME FROM. No one else will save you. Peace x

I'm experiencing this kinda movements for years. My hands were shaking since I born but over the past years my whole buddy starts twitcing and shaking. Head, foot, arms, legs, full upper body. Mostly it's occuring ramdomly and sometimes I'm triggering it by anxiety and heavy emotions. It's not fast all the time but when it is my head moves sharply like someone slapping, my arms goes up to air rapidly and my upper body fully goes fastly to the forward while I'm laying on the bed. What is going on??

I also have that condition since I am 14. It started with stupid teenage complexities like you don't want people to watch you smoke because that makes you anxious.Then it all started I started to receive my first ticks as an involuntary movements of the head and this made me even feel more complexed.Over the years the teenage nonsence was gone but the conditioned worsened.I think it's really on neurological basis with drugs ,alcohol and cigarettes taking big part in it.I'm 30 now and in that point it has become unbearable.However to my opinion it also could be cured in another way though.Since it's a neurological disorder you got that constant anxiety and shame from people caughting their eyes on you doing weird and embarrassing stuff.Hence the option to go to a secluded place(huts on mountains and forests,remote islands,vilages or anything simmilar).Yes you would become asocial and away from family and friends for a while but I think it's a life saver.That's the case with me though.I don't know if it's the same with you .You could also try neck exercise prescsribed by a phiziotherapist.It also works to some extent but you have to do it more regular.

My dystonia is inherited, and I have it throughout my whole body. I take 200-300mg of Dilantin (Phenytoin) daily for it, which is an epilepsy medicine. A lot of the neurologists I was seeing wanted me to try the newer drugs on the market first, even though my dad was also able to control his with the Dilantin. Eventually I went to an integrative doctor who finally prescribed this to me. It helps me pretty much completely and I am able to live a totally normal life now. I know it probably won't work for everyone but I hope this can help someone else.
