Oh please they wore wigs, lashes and makeup back then too. Im so sick of yall and all that natural delusion crap.
@truth2youАй бұрын
@@thetruesoulofanaquarius9302 There are many differences between now and back then. Back then Some women wore wigs where as now damn near all of you wear that shit. Today you got young girls wearing that shit. Back then little girls were all natural because their parents taught them better. A If you weren’t alive living in that era you shouldn’t speak on it because it was far different than the fake phony shot you see out here today.

A lot of the dancers explained that the famous guest would usually be looking for certain dancers because they had been watching the show just like everyone else and admired how the danced and wanted specific dancers included in their shows. The dancers admitted the didn’t get paid money but had so many opportunities just being seen on the show it was worth it. So I’m sure James knew who she was already and was happy to groove with Damita Jo!

Same with me... It's interesting seeing all these old performers in their prime... The moves are crazy CRINGE for today... But ya gotta start somewhere. Of course a lot of these moves trace back to 20s and 30s clubs in the deep south.

James realized at the beginning when Damita came up onto the stage that she could dance, and therefore, he didn't have to break a sweat for that gig. He just had to sing and enjoy the woman's moves. Pretty much every other performance by James required a shower, a fresh change of clothes, and a trip to the dry cleaners. James wasn't dumb...
