Each week night, THE LATE LATE SHOW with JAMES CORDEN throws the ultimate late night after party with a mix of celebrity guests, edgy musical acts, games and sketches. Actually it was illogical a proper analogy would be if somebody got it ticket while a licensed driver and then gave up their license before the court date for the hearing which if guilty would jeopardize their license [ which they no longer have.] In real life if that occurred the state still wants the money for the ticket

I think candlemas, Feb 2nd, had a tradition of going out & annoying hedgehogs that hibernate in the winter. If you found one, looking with your candlelit lantern, that was awake instead of hibernating it might mean a early spring? In the US we don't have hedgehogs so ground hogs were substituted. I don't know if they even hibernate. But I think it was originally an English tradition. Like carving a turnip for all hallow's eve was changed when people moved to a place with pumpkins instead of dinky turnips to carve.

Take a quick Google search of traditions around the globe and you’ll realize that the “tradition” of predicting the weather by observing a small mammal’s shadow is tame by comparison.

That new Amazon headquarters looks absolutely amazing. I don’t usually approve of so much money being spent on projects this size, but this one does look worth it. It’s probably adding more greenery to the city than there has been for years.

I wish he had explained why that shoe has been made, they were made to be adaptive for disabled people with the help of disabled people. So people who can't bend or who use mobility aids or struggle with dexterity can still have cool looking, comfortable and functional shoes. They've been designing them for years.

The Groundhog thing comes from an old, old European tradition about weather being predicted by whether or not Candlemas (February 2) dawns sunny or cloudy. Then animals got mixed in because they come out of hibernation about that time.
