While I agree Snyder's DCEU was awful after literally just 2 movies, I still don't think Gunn will make it any better for DC.. I mean c'mon are we gonna put faith in guy wanting to use terribly unknown characters from an already dying style of filmmaking in several upcoming (supposedly) BLOCKBUSTER movies and TV shows just because he made 2 good Marvel movies? Personally I think he'll mess it up but honestly I just wanna see where it all goes 💯

@@itshugoc Yeah he's made some pretty good movies but he's also promoted some dumpster fires like The Flash and Aquaman 2, and he's even hired some of the people who helped make those trainwrecks to help with his newer DC movies which genuinely has me worried.. I really hope I'm proven wrong and his DCU is as successful as any other franchise but (and this is just my opinion) I can't put my trust in a guy who has consistently made bad decisions for movies that haven't even released a trailer yet

The so called replacement for live action justice league took them years to make long before Gunn even became co head at DC let alone before Superman legacy started filming. Also the justice league has to be built up to not rushed in 3 movies. Nothing against Snyder personally but he was to obsessed with deconstructing iconic heroes and dude missed the mark on Batman and Superman and WB forced out JL too soon. Let the DCU breath and world build. Allow the audience to explore it before we get the justice league.

The reason why I said people should stop dwelling on the past isn't that they should accept the NEW status of DC (they can if they would like to) but they should accept that the OLD status of DC is very much likely not coming back, and I know that's hard to hear even for me cause I liked a lot of the previous DC projects but since they're most likely not coming back I have come to accept that. We are all in the same position and the movie business have done this to us on purpose by not listening to us all. Personally since watching from Reeve to now, pretty much all CBMs, I have a problem with the way the studios were treating characters and fans by not finishing what they started and listening to any old loud fan on Twitter and critics who are probably paid off. Gunn to me has made one decent movie in GOTG, the rest are pretty silly/trashy and are getting worse and worse each new movie, yet was given the keys to the DC Kingdom? His Twitter comments are trashy and so are hus movies, Peacemaker was very trashy n silly, last thing I want my family to see! He lies abd manipulates people over n over again and belittles fans. I've never really had a problem with ANYONE since the start with Donner, but now Gunn, ask yourself why? People go oh you are Snyder whatever,No, I just like GOOD mature serious, dark gritty, epic, visually stunning movies and I like people who are nice to fans and adapt, Gunn is none if those things and his movies ain't all that. His justice league movie was solid but it still was everywhere after it being four hours long. Zack is a good director and he wasn’t treated right by WB but he should not have been given the keys to the DCEU.

The only reason it got so beloved was because the Joss Whedon version was so trash. It was better than the public release, but it would've flopped if released on cinemas

Yeah, I'd like proof of that. His universe was leagues better than anything that this Don't Care Universe will ever have. Gunn is a lying manipulator that doesn't care about the real fans, only about foolish fans that can't even see past their own ego. That's all Gunn has going for him is a completely massive ego. I could care very little to none at all for it and I'm very happy to be a Snyder fan. He actually knows what he was doing and all the critics and other companies were too quick to judge how he was making his successful movies. Even Netflix wants them and Gunn is refusing which shows you how naive he is. He doesn't even pay his actors well which is why he doesn't get the best and didn't get the Snyderverse actors to work for him.
