The Late Late Show with James Corden

Following a discussion about which superhero they would each be, the gang dives into the news, including a story about how Americans are expected to spend $31.7 billion on Mother's Day this year. And the Kentucky Derby is this weekend, but our boss, horse racing extraordinaire Nick Bernstein, is double-booked with a wedding, so James brainstorms ways for him to get out of it. After Ian shares that the L.A. County Fair sells foods such as fried butter, James becomes intrigued, but a few members of the staff don't think it's for him. And before James is able to wrap up the day's news, he is interrupted by Elizabeth Olsen and Benedict Cumberbatch, who are making margaritas at the bar!

I bumped into James Corden Wednesday night at Miami International Airport. He was extremely nice and very comfortable taking a picture with me. I'm so grateful! He did not seem boogie at all. He walked out of the airport like any of us. I definitely see him going to a county fair with no issue.

Amazing monologue. Poor Nick, I'm sure his wife and daughters babysitter will be thrilled to see this 😅. And honestly, this is the most out of character I've ever seen Benedict Cumberbatch, it's hilarious 😂.he may be able to play an evil Dr. Strange, but not an evil version of himself. He's just too inherently nice for that.

I love Steve doing his thing with style this week! It is interesting…my dad has been super invested in making sure he engages my boys in giving me a special Mother’s Day. He actually annoyed me asking me so many times what I wanted. Lol maybe it’s that so many are feeling grateful for the moms that have been the glue during covid. Actually, I’ll take a cumberbatch. He’s looking even more hot if that’s possible!

Ok, very confused. On Tuesday night's show, Ian was clean shaven (which I love!). Last night, he had a full mustache. Tonight, he is once again clean shaven 🤯. How is that possible? This is legit what I thought the plot of doctor strange was gonna be 😂 like she was gonna be bad first and look for her kids, but then it's revealed Strange is actually Mephisto who is hiding her real kids to turn her evil, so she has to battle Mephisto to save Strange and her kids, travelling the multiverse randomly while picking up allies for the final battle. So it was secretly a scarlet witch movie in disguise (as disguise would be the whole theme). Then it would turn out that the real doctor strange sequel will be released next year and they filmed it in secret concurrently. And Wanda wouldn't have been done so dirty as a character 😭
