I was fortunate to obtain a bottle by mail. The first thing I noticed was the bottle had a slightly green hue, reminiscent of the old telephone line insulators of the seventies. After opening the bottle, I poured a couple of ounces into an old pewter jigger we had saved from a trip to the DaVinci museum in Ambois. To my surprise the mustard lingered for ages, much like a ballpark hotdog on a warm summer day, constantly sharp on the burp. Fantastic, transcendant.

Dear James, Just an FYI, its the outside of the lemon twist that has the oils. Twist the lemon skin over the glass, then rub the outside on the rim of the glass. Cheers👍

My understanding of the Churchill martini was to drink Gin and look at the bottle of vermouth.

I normally don't fall for advertising. Nor did I this time. However, I did wisely and completely individually order a bottle of the ramstud.

I dont know about James, but the way the fridge doors open drive me nuts. I would change the doors to open the other way.

The American Mustard (Ramstud here in the States) truly is a fantastic gin.

Unfortunately being in Ontario, Canada I had to go through a winery out west to get a bottle of the normal asian parsnip, which was amazing by the way. Unfortunately, they're still holding on to the bottle my gf ordered with no shipping in sight. Chances are we're not going to get the American Mustard/Ramstud here. Shame really.

I know no one asked, but if you realised why they used Cocchi Americano instead of Kina Lillet, is because Kina Lillet has been discontinued, despite it being an important ingredient in the Vesper. Hence, Cocchi Americano as a substitute
