Ha! I was at that show in Santos and remember all the blood. One of the best shows I ever been.

"You Die Tonight" That is AWESOME lol

One time I was buzzed and opening my freezer door to get a beer, and I was listening to Slayer, Pantera or some other really heavy band (can't quite remember) so I started to visciously headbang as a good song came on and I cracked my head on the freezer door and it split above the eyebrow like Henry's head did in this story. Blood started pouring down my face and I began laughing at my own stupidity. True story.

I was at that Livid show! Line up included Babes in Toyland, Morphine, Nomeansno, Mark of Cain, and a Jello Biafra spoken word set. Held at Davies Park West end in Brisbane 1995. Not the greatest Livid of all time, but definitely some landmark performances. 97 was pretty massive. Bloodhound Gang, Ben folds five, Dinosaur Jr, CAKE, Snaker Pimps, DEVO and WEEN. The later two were scheduled at the same time. DEVO and WEEN on the same line up and some genius decided they should play the same set time. Devastating. I chose WEEN. First thing they said to the crowd was we made the wrong decision and gave us one final chance to change our minds. Nobody left. I saw ween two more times after that gig. I still stand by my decision. It was the correct choice.

Anyone else think that both these stories could be in a Spinal Tap sequel? Not likely to happen but I could see them talking in those great English accents about knocking themselves out or forgetting the lyrics to a song.

Henry... have you listened to It's a Shame About Ray? Its fucking depressing as fuck (and thats why you wont like it)- obviously you took the sound or "look" of something and didn't bother to listen further, which makes sense if you can't get past your own biases, which is 99% of the human race... straight up judge a book by its cover. The songs are coming from horrible drug abuse so to me they might be candy coated but they aint sugar youre puttin in your veins. You know who else has cheery pop songs that are fucked up?
