Instagram beauty guru’s….theres so many of them…so so so so many off them. And I mentioned them before in one of my videos. They’re the skincare and makeup influencers who apply makeup to their face with weird things, point at their face and say no a lot for some reason. Bu they also have a reputation for using skincare….wrong….very very wrong.
Today I want to share some of the most frustrating mistakes instagram beauty gurus make that could lead to their viewers wasting their products! From small changes James Charles could make to his Skincare routine to a Heinz Mustard face mask, and even a DIY apricot scrub....mask?!

Nothing any of us over 25 y/o unwilling (or unable) to see a aesthetician or surgeon can do will give us that skin. Don't sell me unattainable dreams James, please. Just give me your expert truth and I will do my best to make it work.

@@kristinbagani2811 Your right there. There's a reason why we still have instructions on shampoo, and people eating tidepods a few years back; or any of the ridiculous trends that circulate. There's always idiots who don't take things seriously or don't think about consequences and injure themselves or others with their stupidity. It's infuriating when it's geared to young children who idolise these types of people, because their parents don't bother to monitor what they're watching. I myself was given free rein of the internet at the age of thirteen, and luckily because I understood the risks of the web, I wasn't exposed to much; but still enough to make the point I'm making.

He is not Korean as well but he knows a lot about Korean skincare.I suggested him to talk about Indian skincare because our products are wayyyy different than what you find in Europe,America or Korea. So if he reviewed our products then we would know which ones are good for our skin n which ones aren't.Since our import duties are high for international makeup and skincard, even drugstore products of USA are high-end brands for us.

Also I'd like to emphasize that many affordable Korean products are not affordable in India, like Krave, Cosrx, Ordinary. I see them in every affordable K-Beauty video, but Import fee makes it comparatively expensive. An old 'Indian Skincare' video of James really helped me design a good skincare routine. It will be really helpful for a lot of people if he makes a '2020' version of it.

Absolutely LOVE you and your videos! I’ve changed so much in my skincare routine since watching you and have gone from wearing full coverage foundation (to cover everything) to a tinted moisturizer (to even out skin tone) because I now have skin I am proud of! I’m 37 and neglected my skincare routine throughout my 20s, which I regret. Thank you for all your advice and helping me get back my healthy skin 😊

That micellar gel from Garnier is fenomenal! I have combo skin and I've been using the sensitive version for years and it works amazing and it has a very good INCI as well! I can't stand micellar waters or biphasic products since I hate how much the oils in them stick to my skin nor the application of those watery formulas. You just need to message well one pump or two of that micellar gel on your skin then wash it off, it removes even a full face makeup 😍

I used to think I was getting the best of the best when I bought Tatcha products. Kept buying it because my skin was so bad and I kept thinking Tatcha would make it better, I just had to give it time. It didn't register with me until I was hundreds of dollars poorer a year later and still had bad skin that products with dimethicone in them are not as wonderful as they are touted to be. It makes skin look great at the start because it's blurring(hello, it's basically silicone), but in the end it's just washed away down the drain where it causes problems for the environment. Everyone will tell you it's perfectly safe to use and excellent for hydrating the skin, but what they won't tell you is that it's man-made and isn't biodegradable. It goes down your drain and into water sources, impacting fish and plant life. The FDA has approved many chemicals that are harsh and unnatural, yet we continue to regard them as experts on the matter. As soon as I switched to a natural skin care my skin immediately began looking better. So what is even more maddening is that I realized dimethicone is cheap. SUPER cheap. So what is this fake, cheap product doing in a $68 dollar 1.7 oz lotion??? Why is it marked "clean" on the Sephora website?? It was then I realized I was paying more for the luxury packaging than the product itself, and when people see "Japanese nutrients" and "botanicals" they think "well this MUST be ideal". This is why I hate it when people do not do their research on things and then tell their following it's a great product and they need it. "Quality over Quantity." Yeah, right... you're not getting quality or quantity. You are throwing your money in the trash. So so so clueless.

As someone that has sensitive skin that doesn't want to be spot, discolor or texture free ever (not since 11 years old) I've realized that knowing your skin and ingredients is important but also not completely stopping doing something that works if someone tells you it COULD be bad in some way. I don't wear sunscreen if I'm indoors almost all day (less than 1 total hour outside) due to it being clogging, I wash my face in the shower (warm not hot water) and with lukewarm to warm water other times due to otherwise getting breakouts and dryness Different things work for different people and for me many ingredients are too strong so I keep to the basic routine of watery moisturizing and hydrating products.
