Mamadou Aziza ummm I believe that Q-tip played her boyfriend in the movie Poetic Justice. He died in the beginning of the movie. Which is probably why you don’t remember him being in it or understand the reference.

@@jerryjaguar3239 while Q.Tip was rapping his verse, the riffs from 2 songs from A Tribe Called Quest were played, which were: - "Check the Rhime" and the riff was sampled from Minnie Riperton's "Baby This Love I Have" - the second one played is "Electric Relaxation". The riff played was sampled from Ronnie Foster's "Mystic Brew".
