ahahahah - it's so funny how we have such different views of Danielle's writing - I absolutely love her writing but maybe that's because I know her and that's how she is - that's how she is in circle. LOL. I adore her and her ideas. Hope you like this one better. ;)

"I said *okay*" 🤣 Interesting to hear that someone else also dedicates specific decks to spirit guides. I also agree about Witch Sister possibly becoming a polarizing deck. like Hidden Realm. I think the art style is a love or hate kinda thing. And yes, the Magician from Hidden Realm stopped me from buying it for years 🤣

I find your jewelry fascinating and especially appreciate the large purple ring with your lilac hued sweater. Nice. I own less than 10 decks. Nothing, and I mean nothing that I have seen or own, holds a candle to Murder of Crows. For me it is the standard by which all other decks are measured and so far most others fail. As you said, I appreciate the utter absence of fluff. There is no goo, no frills, no beating around the bush, just here's your card, deal with it. I do not look for horror in my decks and have rejected several that lean in that direction, for shock value. Murder of Crows does have a tone to it though. As if you have been lead, by a tall, silent, robed figure into the depths of an ancient, empty stone temple and there, in dim light, mute beings will simply and plainly show you what you need to know. Not horror, more like sober reverence and the presence of something ancient, from another time. If you have not read the booklet, do so. I enjoy your razor wit and muttered asides. I hope 2024 is a better year for you.
