French guy here, to elaborate on what Joey said about terrible taxis in France Taxis here (especially in Paris) are notoriously bad AND expensive but they were the only option other than public transportation for a long while before Uber came in. Uber got so big instantly because there’s a quality standard and you can rate the driver that taxi drivers started mass protests and had to up their quality standard (spoiler: they’re still terrible)

A cafe that I went to that seemed actually unique was the Eorzea Cafe (for FFXIV) in Osaka/Tokyo. They had themed foods that were decorated to be things from the game and drinks that represented the different classes. But omg is getting a reservation difficult

So, tip from someone who is used to having to go to the doctor alot. Agree if there isn't an appointment in the near future, to see a nurse. Then the nurse either sorts you out, or asks for the doctor to see you anyway. I also tend to find you have much quicker appointments too, as the doctor only gets pulled in for as much as they are necessary for kinda thing.

I road in a lot of taxis during my two month stay in China and they are absolutely crazy. Like their demeanor is chill, had some good convos, but during that they would be threading the thinnest needles between trucks. One of my drivers was a chauffeur paid by my program to take us on the hour trip from the airport to hotel. Dude was actually falling asleep and swerving on the interstate going 70 and we kept having to shake him awake. Dude didn't pull over to get his bearings, he just powered through as I played obnoxious metal music on my phone. We didn't know any Mandarin and he didn't know English so the language barrier was another hurdle
