They never had a chance against the Americans. They had a 6 month window and they needed to get to carriers. Pearl Harbor was really a failure. They knew they were beat. The day after pearl harbor they just didn't want to admit they were done. American Marines are better soldiers anyway. Japanese soldier was no match for them. They both killed each other. It is actually somewhat historically accurate! A select number of units in the Kuomintan army were trained and equipped by German military advisors that were sent to China as a form of aid. This occurred before the war in Europe began.

当時の上海・南京の中国軍はドイツの多大な援助と軍事顧問の指揮によって武装されており、日本軍は4万人という死傷者が出ました。（中国側は30万人の死傷者←これが南京大虐殺と呼ばれる数字になります）
