Here's a hodgepodge of stuff for your brain to absorb! He swapped the carb on our Daihatsu Hijet mini. But we had a couple of problems. I accidentally deleted a good portion of the install video, and we oversized our main jet. Plus we have distributor issues to deal with, broken screws to extract, and a redneck mini truck lift kit to install!

On vacuum lines to carb, one is off of the distributor and the other is?? In process of frankensteining an s110p motor (original carb has coolant running through it)

I’m trying to figure out the firing order for these units. I’ve tried every which and can’t get it to run. What’s the firing order?

@@cakemonster1633 Ours is 1,3,2. If I remember correctly the distributor rotates clockwise. We need to get back on our mini and have a lot of plans for it. #1 will be to re-visit the carb swap and we’ll try to touch on the ignition system. Thanks for watching and commenting!

To be honest, I'm not sure what ya mean. We swapped our carb due to internal issues and the inability to find parts or a factory replacement. It works great but my SD card glitched and I lost the video. We are going to re-shoot the carb swap soon so keep watching!

The intake hole needs to be same same or you have too much air..... those aftermarket ones are a bit bigger.

Not at all. In fact four barrel carburetors can be run on two barrel intakes with adapter plates with great success. More air is a good thing but the air/fuel ratio must be maintained.

I accidentally deleted the best part of the install video. BUT- we have to pull the carb in the next few days to re-jet it so I am planning to walk through the install again at that time. Stay tuned!
