First off, Thanks again for doing this it's very informative and entertaining. I am curious if you missed something since you didn't mention it, but it was very important. Did you notice after the tournament when Tori went back in, she saw Terry and the ref talking and Terry was paying the ref? That was not him just paying his wage or anything. He had bribed the ref before the tournament to make sure that Cobra Kai won. That's why Tori only got a warning for the elbow to Sam's face instead of a point deduction and also why he did not give Sam that point against Tori and instead said that Tori was out of bounds when she actually wasn't. Sam actually won that match but because Terry paid off the ref, he made sure Sam lost.

Hey! I’m a big fan and have been for some time now. I have a question that I’m curious about your opinion on. So, if Daniel and Johnny were back in their youth, say, Karate Kid 1 (maybe 2 for Daniel since he got more skilled); how do you think they would do in this All Valley Tournament against the likes of Robby, Hawk or Miguel? Also where would you rank Sam and Tory in terms of skill compared to young Johnny and Daniel?

Tbh compared to most hollywood type of action movies/series where you have shaky camera movements (an excuse to hide the fact that the actors don't know how to fight) and flashy moves that in no way could be possible without the usage of cables, not to mention that the main protagonist tanks heavy hits like nothing and keeps going, this show is actually pretty accurate, and this teacher rather highlights and praises the actors because he can tell they're legit or at least in the process of learning martial arts, the flaws he points out aren't even that many lol most of them are simply because of grammatical errors, in fact he once said the show represents the message of karate very well (something like that) so honestly even if it's not perfectly accurate, it still manages to give an entertaining yet honorable and respectable representation of Karate.

Can we also point out that it was kind of f*cked up for Daniel to use that forbidden technique from the deadly branch of Miyagi-Do that he was taught specifically to stop Kreese and defend himself. One that Miyagi probably didn't teach him on purpose because Daniel is a f*cking hothead who shouldn't know how to attack cause as soon as he does he "Strikes Firster". @@TheLikenessOfNormal johnny has always been the better fighter, this is acknowledged many times. Johnny is a two time tournament winner, got second place out of his 3 visits to the finals. He beat daniel when daniel used the pressure points but lost to daniel in a tournament due to being distracted (kreese said this in a deleted scene but it holds up) johnny just plays down to daniel without recognizing it truthfully (this does happen in sports) so when daniel gets better, johnny ups his game and beats him. I just found this guy while I've been waiting for Season 5 and he's doing a great job. He sees a lot of the stuff I see in the show that actually means something but whereas I am no practitioner of martial arts, I respect it greatly and I respect his words on this show and the whole Karet Kid universe I enjoy so much (Except for that Jackie Chan movie). If I could be given a 16 year old body again I would dedicate a lot of my life to it and hope to work on a show like this, but we still get to see these older men show off some moves and the story is just so exquisitely double sided, never knowing who to like or hate throughout scenes. @@sintomas considering that Johnny and Daniel can't be sensei's it makes sense to bring in Chozen, he actually actively practices Miyagi-Do and teaches it. Julie might know Miyagi-Do but she has had about the same amount of training as Dimitri and less than Sam, she makes a perfect secondary teaching figure but Chozen as it has been established in this series is a perfect person to teach the students going forward until Johnny and Daniel get back again. heck his whole "defense takes on many forms" pretty much demonstrates that He would be much more willing to blend both offense and defense than Daniel ever was.

Absolutely agree, and for Robby hesitating like that was part of his redemption arc, because he was considering whether he should have even been in that fight on the side he was on at that moment. He realized *during the fight* that he was on the wrong side. That is what made the entire fight so realistic as it was written. Now that he's forgiven his father the next season is going to be pretty wild. All of the "good guys" are assembling against Silver now.

The actors chosen to portray the characters on this show are extremely talented, both the new ones and the returning ones from the original KK movies. The face Eli makes portraying his return to the Hawk style of fighting, and being able to merge both in the final fight is really epic. Terry's actor also does a great job portraying a complete psychopath in how he's able to manipulate people better than Kreese can. I'm really excited for the next season since the writers do a great job of keeping us intrigued and entertained.

Oh, man, when they showed Chozen, Silver, you have NO CLUE who's coming for you! Season 5, let's do this! I was pumping my fist, practically jumping up and down when they showed him at the end. Man, I really hope Barnes comes back too! He's from the third film. Ohh, maybe even Julie too. I thought it was Julie who came to Daniel at first, but Chozen is even better!
@Vegan_Truth

As someone who does martial arts, it was enjoyable seeing a reactor on KZfaq also see some things I noticed, but also learned some things while watching you.
