Today I took a stab at coming up with some staples for spring outfits and spring clothes here in Japan. Of course with all the different styles out there it was really difficult for me to come up with a somewhat concise list. But hopefully I was able to cover the key items that people wear in spring in Japan. Let me know if there's another staple that you've noticed!

I love your videos! I can't wait for your summer video. I'm going to study abroad in Kyoto from June-July and have no idea what to pack. Especially for shoes!

I hope you have a good study abroad experience! For shoes I’d say maybe a good walking sneaker, cute sandals (not just flip flops), and maybe something a little dressy!

After watching your videos about japanese fashion and also some about petite styling I've been on a mission to find a good long trench coat and so far no luck. Everything in my price range is too oversized or made of polyester :/

Yeah it’s hard to find a piece of clothing that fits just right. Maybe you could get something tailored? And maybe you can get lucky with finding a good quality trench coat second hand!

6:32 Niceee, this is the kind of style I'm trying to slowly change my wardrobe into 🤭 I have a lot of work clothes, so sometimes I wear those out for when I hang out with my family or friends! I need my clothes to be versatile 🤭 And in the kaotype system, I'm either an Elegant/Soft Elegant type, so wearing a tshirt makes me look too casual and that I haven't put in any effort to dressing up, as compared to a plain blouse, which makes me look more presentable...
