For a comfortable, chunky platform sandal for narrow, flat feet I recommend the Chaco Townsend midform. If you like chunky, thick strapped shoes. I laughed when you mentioned arch support because it’s true that completely flat foot beds are not very comfy.

The Townsend looks great! too many sandals look questionable lol

Usually from various Japanese brand sites. I tried looking at western brands too but it’s hard to find similar items 😅

Share site names please! I really want to buy the dresses and can't find authentic ones from japan
@reginasmemos2 күн бұрын
@@poppi8432 Since I live in Japan I've never used these sites from abroad, so I'm a little hesitant to share. From what I understand many of these brands need to be bought through proxy sites. I think that buyee is a proxy site that can be used to shop on zozotown. Zozotown is one of the biggest online retailers in Japan with several different brands and I use it a lot. GRL is another popular site and I think the site itself directs you through a proxy process. One downside to these sites (I think) is that you'll probably have to pay for shipping and possibly import tax. Also many woman and girls shop at fast fashion brands like Shein, Nugu, Zara and H+M.

The A-line skirts and dresses are probably the most practical trends for summer. I also like some of the straw hats. The white lace skirt looks like an apron to me, but the example where it is tied on the neck like a halter top is actually nice! Reminds me of times when people used to wear jeans and dresses together, but this version looks softer and more wearable
@reginasmemosАй бұрын
I can see what you mean with some of the lace skirts looking like aprons 😂 The halter top one was my favorite too! Thanks for watching!

The amount of bizarre-looking things that are getting popularized by social media are sort of scary to me.
I really liked the 10th outfit and generally lighter colours for spring (I'm struggling with too much black in my wardrobe so I love your ideas for outfits with a little bit more colour). Btw those pink shades (I'm not sure if its coral or salmon, but those pink shades with a little bit yellow to it) look great on you!

Thanks so much for watching!! This year I’m trying to slowly add more dark browns in my wardrobe vs black, but black is so comfy lol

After watching your videos about japanese fashion and also some about petite styling I've been on a mission to find a good long trench coat and so far no luck. Everything in my price range is too oversized or made of polyester :/
@reginasmemosАй бұрын
Yeah it’s hard to find a piece of clothing that fits just right. Maybe you could get something tailored? And maybe you can get lucky with finding a good quality trench coat second hand!

@reginasmemos2 ай бұрын
Well...June is considered rainy season, so you'll have to keep that in mind lol. As for blocking the sun, I usually just use a sun umbrella! That way I don't have to think too much about clothing lol

lol at least you found it interesting? I don't know any youtubers who do a trends list for men, but The Casual talks about Japanese streetwear, fashion brands and style. I just took a quick look and it seems like Percia Verlin has recently made a couple of videos about the city boy look if you're interested in that.

6:32 Niceee, this is the kind of style I'm trying to slowly change my wardrobe into 🤭 I have a lot of work clothes, so sometimes I wear those out for when I hang out with my family or friends! I need my clothes to be versatile 🤭 And in the kaotype system, I'm either an Elegant/Soft Elegant type, so wearing a tshirt makes me look too casual and that I haven't put in any effort to dressing up, as compared to a plain blouse, which makes me look more presentable...

@reginasmemos6 ай бұрын
I usually focus on women’s fashion. The KZfaq channel “the casual” is more gender neutral and “dickimchi” does street fashion interviews I’m not sure about getting Japanese brands in the us. My guess is you can order clothes from some brands here, but I’m not sure which ones and you’ll probably have to pay import fees etc .
@MalinaCC7 ай бұрын
I’m from the u.s but I’ve been in Japan visiting now for a little over a week. I’ve been observing the fashion in Tokyo, Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc. I’ve seen large baggy/WIDE leg pants, oversized sweaters/hoodies/jackets and vintage letterman jackets (for guys) when it comes to street wear mostly in black, grey, white. For more polished styles I’ve seen floor length or cropped coats, well tailored minimalistic business casual clothing and timeless basics in neutral colors, and long skirts of various textures and fabrics. Saw new balances EVERYWHERE on all ages/genders and the right below the knee boots, black loafers, and doc martens for more edgy styles. I’m from a beach town where we put on whatever’s clean (and tbh sometimes it’s not lol) and go to meetings in jeans and dirty shoes 😂. It is wild and admirable how fashionable and put together everyone is here regardless of age or gender or style! Really inspires me to step up my fashion.
@reginasmemos7 ай бұрын
Yeah neutrals and new balances are everywhere. Sometimes I wish for some more pops of color 😂 I’m also from a similarly casual area, and I’ve learned to actually appreciate the relaxed style there lol
