LMAO I TRIED MY BEST!!..... but there are so many phrases and bits of slang that completely slipped my mind whilst filming this! Very happy to share a bit of Singaporean culture too! Thanks for watching, I hope everyone is well!

My pops moved to Singapore so I always spend anywhere from a week to a couple months there every year visiting and you conveyed the intense urgency in tone people sometimes use when there is nothing actually urgent at all LMAO

Singaporean here, can totally relate to Natasha!! And it's so strange to see/listen to her going all out proudly demonstrating the Singaporean accent that's otherwise hardly shown on this channel

Funny you said that, because a lot of English convicts were shipped over to Australia in the 1700s and 1800s.

lmaoo as a singaporean this is pretty accurate. singaporeans can be quite direct and closer to western countries in terms of being direct, unlike the japanese which tend to be more indirect and beat about the bush/skirt around the issue.

I am from Malaysia, Natasha's slang really do hits the spot. sentences always mixed with 'wah', 'la'. 'wah you say like that, you win liao lo'. 'don't la like that'.

The vast majority of these would just be me swearing at various volumes 😂 I used to work kitchens in the US and kitchen culture here tends to have a very crass sense of humor; when I worked in a resort bakery I had a boss that would greet us at 6am with “what up, sluts!” 😂 (we knew her well before she started doing that lol, I miss that woman so much)
