The pitcher is actually not legally and properly equipped, as him arm sleeve has white on it, which is the same color as the ball, which could be deceptive to the batter. Hooray stupid rules!

You could do this a bit more properly by doing it in franchise mode by not changing any positions and just putting him out of position, the game for some reason is really lenient on position players out of position, just not position players pitching. Ohtani was decent at the position because you changed his secondary

I don’t know if it was possible, but you could have put their other catcher on the mound via the same method? Idk where you were in the batting order though so it might now have been possible
