I find it kinda funny when all these videos say 'don't worry about switching your wardrobe overnight' cause that's what I literally did lmaMy new year's resolution this year was to stop limiting myself with what I wanted to do and I'd always wanted to wear 50s vintage 'when I had the money' but I just decided to say fuck it, and got some reproduction pieces the next day and threw out half my wardrobe! I haven't looked back since. I don't really have any crazy stories but I do just get super nice people to come up to me on the street and just say how nice I look! It has certainly helped with my self-esteem lol. But yeh, I'm really enjoying your videos!

I’ve alway love vintage clothing and make up, ever since I was little I’ve always been drawn to the 1940-1960’s. I started wear more vintage style clothing because I found it fits my body type better, I’ve always been told I have a true hourglass figure without the need of corsets or girdles(I do still like to wear them from time to time though). The one thing that I’ve never been able to do on my own however is style my hair in a vintage style. At the begging of high school many many years ago lol my hair was short and as bleach blond as you can get, as I got toward the end of high school I started growing it out and colored it brown, but because of my natural strawberry blond color it alway comes out a red brown so I just started doing more reds. Now my hair is at my butt and I have no clue how to style hair this long in a vintage way, my husband really loves my long hair so I don’t want to cut it and short hair makes me look really young, like too young when I don’t wear makeup. Any tips would be helpful.

I got into vintage mostly with style bloggers who had entirely different outfits in every post, so I was trying to buy everything in that sense and it took far too long to realize I was buying things that didn't even suit me! I've started with one petticoat and I've got second hand dresses with the circle skirt style bottoms they are dirt cheap and put a petticoat underneath with a Enzo belt boom vintage or some pencil dresses perfect just have a idea of what look you want and try looking into items you can use in it it's really simple once you figure it out but yes I do agree you do not need to spend loads of money to look vintage just have fun and experiment as long as you feel good in it that is all that matters also get inspiration from films and actors from that decade maybe speak with family members who where around during the time that can be handy sorry for long rant here but just a few ideas to help anyone reading

Such a great video lovely! I absolutely loved all your tips and your crazy dress story in the restaurant! Oh my goodness! As a matter of fact a similar thing happened to me (speaking of crazy-embarrassing-clothes-ripping-stories!) I was wearing a beautiful true vintage pair of black cigarette trousers and went to a vintage outlet, as I bend down to pick something up the trousers ripped in my bum area!! But that's not the worst part, they continued ripping!!! Thank goodness I also had a long coat because by the end of the vintage outlet, my whole left side was bare and I was sooo embarrassed!! Dressing vintage means you'll just get so many of these stories, you're so right! Anyways, after my super long rant on your comment section (sorry about this haha!) i love this style the marilyn monroe style always loved i also really loved grease which was also 50s with the black on black outfit she wore with the red lip and leather jacket she had different hair style of course but i thought that was so cute i also liked the clueless outfits which is 90s but thats the only thing about the 90s clothes i like otherwise not a fan of 90s style i also loved frans style from the nanny the show lol so i like a mixture of those three styles id wear them now but not everyday is all
