You can't change a club culture if you always have a plan "B" waiting in the wings, ready to fall back on. If you want a team to become more aggressive, more offensive minded, it's got to be drilled in as THE only way the players should be playing. Otherwise, their bad habits will always creep in, automatically. It takes time, but providing an out will undermine the process of converting them to that more offensive minded style of football. He should stay the course if the club wants to get there in the long run. Many, especially pundits, are ready with their quick fixes and when those don't work, they offer others. The club has languished long enough. Time to do it right.

Arsenal have spent less but sold outgoings f less so it looks like they have spent more. (Kane went f £100m as opposed t Arsenal BUYING Rice but not getting anything for Ramsey, Sanchez, Auba etc so they made no profit. Richy r the same as Totts cos they buy big but they make gr8 sales on outgoing players t balance the money spent on incoming players). 4yrs ago Totts had a pretty brilliant lineup including Kane an Son as opposed t Arsenal with only ol man, Auba as an out an out striker etc

As a Tottenham fan, after we lost Harry Kane in the summer, it’s fair to say most of our fanbase embraced for disaster finishing even worse than 8th and completely missing out on Europe. Season’s not yet finished so the fourth place isn’t secured yet. But it’s fair to say that majority of our fanbase are more than satisfied with our team’s performance even with two cup competitions elimination. Next season, with a fair bit of overhaul of the squad, perhaps we can then be among the title challengers like City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Yep, a lot of former players think they know better than Ange. After all, he’s only been coaching for 28 years. But his tactics seem to have gone pretty well so far going from 8th to 4th. People say he needs a Plan B. Well first he does make tactical changes during the game which is why we win most games in the second half. But also, they are not factoring in that his teams work really hard and they tend to progress faster than the teams around them. Look how far we have come over the past year. Imagine what we will be like when we strengthen further over the next window and the system becomes more entrenched ⚪️👍

You can easily play a high line competitative. But you need a midfiled and attackers that are more aggressive in the press, to many times do we see the midfielders jogging in to press, then a high line is suicidal! Hig line demands rabid like pressure when you loose the ball, you have to flock the oposition or make a foul. Guardiola has played like this since Barca. If they loose the ball they are like wasps and if one player is about to counter, they make a foul

Cundy's spot on. It's easier to get up to 4th, than from 4th into a genuine title chase. From 4th to 1st, unfortunately, requires spending a lot of money. Arsenal was in the running last season and had to change their style and spend a lot just to remain in a title chase.

Angeball myth and reality. In the first 12 Premier League rounds of 2024 - Arsenal conceded the least number of shots, a total of 77. Manchester United was the worst they conceded 225 shots. Ange’s Spurs had the second best record with 98 shots conceded in 2024. How does that record match the Angeball rhetoric that they concede too many opportunities for the opposing team. This is all after 10 months not 5 years like Arsenal

Ange ball was great at the start of the season but watching them play hasn’t been anywhere near that since the Chelsea game. I watch arsenal or Man City and it’s clear how far off they are.
