I think some people miss the idea. Momoa has a crazy metabolism and does crazy exercise, even when he's doing bare minimum. He's gone on record saying he only looks like Aquaman when he's filming, and even stated it was part of the reason he took on Fast X.

And let’s not forget that for all photoshoots it is always pulled in and tensed. Even when ripped a “belly” will protrude when in a relaxed state. He looks great and with great proportions too
