Loving your Okinawa videos…lived there as a child in the mid 70s. I can remember the coral beaches - my dad once found a piece that was like a whistle, so everytime we went I would look for a ‚whistle shell‘. I can remember a popular beach near where we lived, Moon Beach…it was a cove with many colorful fish in crystal clear water. We also enjoyed staying at a cabin for a couple days at a beach resort called Okuma, my mom told me it had been damaged by a typhoon shortly after we left…I think it would habe recovered by now, would love to visit again. We made a trip to one offshore island, Tsuken Island…I was very young but the years we lived in Okinawa left very good memories…foodie memories…the sweet scent of the pineapples, fresh taste of their cucumbers and delicious sweet potato.

I had a Blue Hawaii drink in a Tokyo subway station once in the mid '80s and it's permanently in my memory as something good, though I can't honestly say I remember exactly what the flavor was!

I live in Wisconsin (USA). Beer & burgers are a big thing here! If you ever come to visit, I'd like to take you to various places where they serve pub food. We are a place where the food in taverns are brought up a notch. Gourmet burgers, 2 tone beer-battered onion rings, homemade root beer, craft beer of all types, and it's good!

Thanks for another fun video. The beach in this video reminds me of Tsuken Island where another beautiful place to visit. That island is not too far from the main island of Okinawa. I’ve been there in 2014. The beach is gorgeous!

Wind, music, planes - all good. That is the flavor of the place. Looking at the menu, the surroundings, the music had to be part of it. I am glad you moved so it was not so loud we could not hear you. But, it is OK. When you go to other places, we get to hear people, birds, a little traffic, laughter. and the sounds matter. That looked fun. I don't know how either of you could eat those burgers. Hard to get crinkle fries in my area, especially as well done as those. They aren't popular and they are my favorite. I would have asked for a triple serving. LOL

You guys should do a beer tour around tokyo! There are so many craft breweries now in tokyo that have amazing beer and great food as well. Definitely check out Baird Taproom in Harajuku

Aloha from Hawaii Shinichi, Have you been to the very end of Lagoon Drive? Take a bento, You can park there with Satoshi and watch all the airplanes land and take off! Also I don’t know if you have been to La Mariana sailing club on sand island road. (you don’t need to be a member) it’s a restaurant and one of the last tiki bars in Hawaii 🌴

I miss going to Okinawa (though the extra flight time is a big UGH!). This place was so crowded when I went at the end of 2019. I wish it were this empty when I went lol. That burger looks so good. There's this chicken and waffle place my friend took some of us to. The fried chicken was SUPER good and apparently very popular with Americans in the area. Kind of a small little restaurant along a coast of sorts. It's apparently called CC's Chicken & Waffle. If you find yourself out in the northern half of Okinawa, you need to try Captain Kangaroo, it's a burger place that is amazing. They are popular with the locals but the good news is there's a beach right behind it that you can wait at until they call you.
