Hey brother, please don't worry about being raw . Truth of the matter is, most if not all women have gotten into these situations with good intentions but road to heel is paved with good intentions. So personally, I feel, u being raw is exactly what is needed. It may be tough love, but it is real love and honesty you're providing as a great brother would and should . There's that saying, "If u do the crime, u must do your time". This is sort of like this situation, except here, your crime is that u let the new shiny thing that just walked into your life with hope and promise, drown out your inner consciences voice until u can no longer hear it. Then slowly it dawns on u, that u lost far more than u thought, u lost u. So sometimes the only way back is to hear the real truth, no matter how ugly , shameful or even painful it is. Wow this is exactly what I have been through for years he told me early on in the relationship that he was abused for years by his mom and abandoned by many including his dad and asked me to never leave him yet he left me for another woman who promised that she was gonna make his life better she gave him keys to her car and apartment and the code to her bank account we were married for 26 years they now have 2 children
