Man I miss this show…Leno was so good and largely apolitical which is a huge plus when you just want to wind down, relax and laugh.

I did not watch Leno's show during this period. (even though I lived in Burbank) But besides Leno's antics, Kevin's reactions were a BIG part of the bit.

I never missed Jay, especially on Fridays when he did the headlines!

17:46 This HAPPENED to me. My mother FREAKED out that I was not ready for SCHOOL at 7"am". This occurred at 7 PM on....a Friday. She was a nurse and had just been on a hard 16 hour shift. My response was to feign going to school, and just let it be. I went out to my cousin's house and blazed. I "got" her at that point, It was an "awakening" to the adult world. I miss her. She tried so damned hard. A "fuck-up" like this HAPPENS.
