Thanks for the comments. And I try my best to stay alert. I worked in a wood mill at Ashley Furniture and have seen a couple accidents that open your eyes to safety precautions. Luckily I was able to witness them as a bystander and not a victim. Stay tuned...video 2 should be up and watchable in about 15 minutes :)

Keep up the good work Jay, I love watching those trash to treasure videos. Try to stay alert while making those repetitive cuts on the table saw, I know what it's like to get bitten by a table saw blade.

Hi Jay, love your projects of making trash into treasures. 16 min. of video and talking is overkilling for making trivets. Your followers using tablesaws and planers aren't beginners. Do a video on using each of your tools, and jump right to cutting, drilling and planing in your projects videos, instead of starting with Adam and Eve every time. And also let the pictures and videos do as much of the explaining as possible = more interesting to watch. Your ideas are great, but videos too long.

I think I found the comment that helped Jay make his content more efficient and entertaining over the years! It took me a few minutes through the video to realize that this was actually a Jay Bates video. Great to see the increase in quality over the years. While this video series is informative, dear lord they're long. ^_^
