Making Trivets 3 Different Ways // DIY Woodworking Project

Күн бұрынLast year I made my wife a trivet for the Holidays, so this year, she requested a few more. I decided to take this opportunity to make a few different styles of trivets and try a few different woodworking techniques. These trivets also gave me the opportunity to use up some of the scraps of nicer woods I have laying around the shop. I hope this video gives you a few ideas of how to use your scrap wood.

Me personally, I like the plain square trivet, but that is my own choice, they all look great, what kind of pads or feet are you adding to the bottoms and do they stick well to the coating that you are using, thanks for sharing.

The square one is my wife's go-to. I used little felt pads, you can get them almost anywhere, even Dollar Tree. If memory serves me correctly, I did add a dab of hot glue to help hold them in place.
