i remember seeing the highlights for aiyuk after my niners drafted him and noticing how good the qb that AZ state had at the time. then finding out that daniels went to lsu and now won the heisman. deommodore lenoir, the cornerback who lined up against aiyuk is also our 2nd cornerback.

I've always had a soft spot for Aiyuk since we drafted him. He's a good player, but he's gotta keep that perspective. If (when probably at this point) he leaves SF he's gotta realize he's going to get No.1 money from someone, but he's going to get that No. 1 attention as well. Curious to see where he lands tbh

it was not late night pac 12 games that killed the conference, that was Larry Scott and the university presidents who enabled him all those years. There has historically been an east coast bias in media/rankings. These tv times are set by networks who ,are also, all based in the east coast

Crazy this was 2019, Herbert was drafted in 2020 and Daniels will be picked in 2024. Remember the day's when a college athlete was in school 4yrs possibly 3? I'm glad there able to transfer and not have to sit a year. Seems like they have more eligibility (Covid obviously) crazy Tua's brother used all his up, yet still tried to get another year.

Before last season it seemed like every time a PAC-12 team had a chance to make a statement and get in the playoff they choked. Oregon and Stanford multiple times during the 2010’s , Utah just a couple weeks after this game, and USC in 2022. But really sad the conference will be no more next year.

Daniels stopped Oregon from making the playoffs that year. Then his first year at LSU despite a pretty bad team around him, he stopped Alabama from making the playoffs. Then the next year with a horrible defense, he stopped Missouri from finishing as a top 5 team. He's in a very got spot with the Commanders. Defensive minded head coach, but he has an elite OC in Kliff who knows how to utilze Daniels.
