He always plays a place called “The Shed” in Maryville TN, he doesn’t have to. It’s a small venue but we’ve supported him since the start. Out of respect he comes back!!!

One of my favorites. I still say go back and visit his Steeldrivers days, Where Rainbows Never Die would have you hooked to a new genre of music. Now, on to you Stevie Ray Vaughn, there is nearly 2hr Video of him and Albert King playing in session. All kinds of stank face. Jerry Reed is another country picker thats awesome. Yes he's best know for Snowman in the Smokey and Bandit movies but truly an amazing talent. Jerry Reed's cover of Georgia on my Mind is a good start. He also has some with BB King. I have yet to hear one of Chris's songs that is pure country. I hear blues, soul, country rock, pop (JT's Say Something) but nothing just country, so I think that is why I like him so much.

Some of the best blues/country rock is Hank Jr. Ignore his public guff... His passion when he was finally able to do his own music. From the age of 8 , he performed his father's music. Try these: Outlaw Women and Come and Go Blues. I started listening to him on 8 track so I feel cheated if I don't go beginning to end. WHISKEY BEND AND HELL BOUND IS a must. THE PRESSURE IS ON album is the 2nd must hear, an iconic Ballad of Hank which is country for a rap song.

Hell Or High Water might be my favorite movie. I think it’s at least a top 5 for me. 1917 might be better but I absolutely love the plot of the movie and then the soundtrack is top notch.

Everything of his since has just been varying degrees of greatness, but all of it is great. I'm 53 years old, and I don't think I've witnessed the rise of a greater talent in my lifetime. The voice. The guitar, The writing. The master showman. This guy's got it all!
