I just wanna put some respect to the legend David Foster on piano. The man is a musician, composer, arranger, record producer and major music executive. He has won 16 Grammy Awards from 47 nominations. His influence & list of collaborations is never ending. He's either played on a track, written it, produced it, or been the one to sign the artist. ALWAYS a pleasure to see him playing music in videos. ❤✌🎵

I hear ya. But I have a love/hate thing re Foster. I like a lot of what he's done, especially his version of Carol of the Bells on his Christmas album. When that song comes on in the car, we blast it, and my husband and I are instantly conducting the orchestra!. And he has all the accomplishments listed above, as well. The "hate" part comes in when we get to the band Chicago; the band's sound was already beginning to change before Foster entered the picture, and the loss of Terry Kath only exacerbated the change, but David Foster's influence and drive toward "pop" hits was the final straw. It makes me sad (although I still love Chicago).

Everyone should watch the series of Yacht Rock videos. They're a fictional mockumentary about Michael McDonald & Kenny Loggins. The first episode tees up a song-writing battle between them and Hall & Oates. I believe Christopher Cross also makes an appearance in one of the episodes. It's super silly and cheesy, but surprisingly well done.
