Funny, priceless story: my favorite "tall tale" of my dads has to do with the song. When I was a kid my dad said he met Elvis and asked him to somehow dedicate this song to my mom to impress her when they first started dating lol. Our last name is Pelotto but, the "e" and the last "o" are pronounced as an"a". So, it really sounds like the background singers are saying are name, "Pa-pa-lotta, pa-pa-lotta" And, of course, after I came along the song was meant for ME, TOO. We always danced to this and he told me so, very, very many times I could put a chain around his neck and take him anywhere I wanted lol 😍 I'm currently 34 now. Unfortunately my mom passed away in 2001, my dad passed away in 2003. I cannot listen to this song without shedding a few "happy tears" so, thank you very much for stirring up these wonderful memories for me by posting this!!!! 😍😍😍

Elvis.."Mean Woman Blues"!!!...not only a good song but a great fight scene added from the movie, "Lovin' You"....this scene is Near-and-Dear to my heart as my old friend Kenny , who passed many years ago plays the 'Heavy', just causing all sorts of trouble for Elvis!!!! He was shy but he was comfortable singing and not shy once settled in He lived to have fun and cut up and laugh.He behaved this way during all his movie sessions and recording sessions.His cousin Billy said Elvis was a barrel of laughs to be around, that his sense of humor and comedic timing was incomparable.He came up with a joke faster than the best comedian and his delivery of it was incomparable.He said Elvis got up each day planning what fun they were going to do that day and every day there was a different plan.He was the coolest dude on the planet.He did wild and crazy and dangerous so much that his entourrae nicknamed him Crazy.He would drive down Elvis Presley Blvd going 150 mph just to scare his passenger.He rented out the entire roller rink and played football on skates with the idea of knocking your opponent off their skates onto the concrete floor.He was very imaginative in creating his antics.Memphis Mafia Kid on youtube is a must watch His closest friend and cousin Billy Smith dicuss things they did with Elvis.You will see how fun loving he was a the true cool dude..the coolest ever in real life.. not just in the movies as James Dean was play acting to be
