Oh man bro. Then you don't watch the Celtics very often. I am from Boston and have to watch them cry and fight with the refs on every play of every game. The Celtics would be happy if the ENTIRE game was a free throw contest while the entire arena was vacant of fans having to watch that trash product. And Tatum is the WORST in the NBA in this regard.

Teams too damn soft man. Kobe rarely complained to the refs. He gets a bad call, he comes back next possession and puts someone on a poster. This team, for all the talent, seems to be missing a winning mentality.

Jayson tatum made lots of mistakes today but we’ve been in this situation b4 and I am not worried. this team normally needs to learn to play a full 48 minutes sooner rather than later. Remember that bucks series game 5 when we blew that 4th quarter lead and collapsed they went up 3-2 on us, and then JT dropped 46 in their home court on an elimination game. This man normally it takes him to learn first and then he responds next game. I have confidence that he will respond next game, he is good when he goes through adversity. I think we win game 6 and atleast the team gained some humbleness that playing 42 minutes isn’t enough to win a game. You gotta play 48. And I think that’s what they learned from this loss and hopefully next game they play a full 48 mins and we close it out. And maybe this might be the spark we needed for future series and they will continue to never keep their foot of the gas again. If we win the finals by running through every team remember this loss is what sparked it all

Yes we have been in this position before which is exactly why you SHOULD be worried. That's why the Celtics, with all that talent, can't break through and win a championship. Because they have been in this position before. No heart or balls, that's why they keep ending up in this position. If Tatum and Smart want to keep not showing up, then give me Brown, Horford, Brogden, White, and Williams as the starting 5 and those 2 can come off the bench.

@@nickstah9184 Honestly, pretty much all of them. I am not even trying to be a troll. It's not about adversity, I promise you. Teams that win a championship learn from their mistakes. For some reason the Celtics can't seem to learn from theirs. That is all I'm saying. Championship teams learn and get farther and farther. Celtics are playing a mediocre team at best and just giving it away... Like they almost did to Miami, Milwaukee, Golden State etc.. They play like front runners which I despise from any team. I enjoyed watching the Celtics more when it was Isiah Thomas and the crew fighting to the last second in every game than watching Tatum cry to the ref for 5 seconds while the other team has a 5 v 4 on the other end. Every team has their ups and downs in the playoffs. Every playoff run isn’t a cake walk, there are gonna be some problems along the way but it’s how u bounce back. I’m sure I would rather have these types of problems in the first round rather than in the second or ECF or finals. U learn more from L’s than wins. He was horrible from three, undisciplined a lot of the time, and watched as the Hawks took the game in last five minutes. He drones on about getting rest and looking at tape. Doesn’t mean a thing if it doesn’t affect his attitude and play. Forget about your shoes, JT, and give an all star performance. If not Mazzula needs to sit him and Smart when they hurt the team.

@@deeptime5581 In general everyone played well except for JT... his single performance made the team lose. No team should allow one single player to affect the team winning or losing this much. Its not right for the other players who came out to close out ATL and now they are at risk to play a Game 7 in the first round.

That's taking responsibility. Shooting 1 from 11 from behind the arc and blaming it on turnovers. Yeah turnovers cost us but you have to take some responsibility for that. The way he was showing off in the all star game with little or no pressure and when it counts he just choked.

Tatum has no clutchness in the 4th and makes bad decisions with the ball often, like chucking early clock contested 3s and iso-ing rather than driving and kicking, which is what makes this team so good. It's rare to see a superstar so willing to bail out the other team late with his terrible shot selection - Trae Young early in this series comes to mind

This team is notorious for blowing leads and playing careless lackadaisical basketball.. I'm a die hard Celtics fan and I am beyond frustrated because this team should be the best team in the NBA based off their two best players and their depth, especially Williams is healthy.. on too many possessions I watch Tatum or brown spend too much time dribbling at the top of the key while four other guys stand around. Watching and whichever one had the ball in that possession ends up dribbling between three guys and turning the ball over or trying to drive against three guys and getting the balls swiped off their own leg and turning it over.. They don't value possessions and make stupid passes that end up as easy transition dunks or layups for the opponent

Who is your best playmaker? Brogdon or Smart? Smart is a legit 6th, Brogdon is a legit starter. That's fact. Derek White has been the 3rd best player. Why was he sitting in the 4th Marcus playing? Joe needs to do what's right. Need to see Brogdon used more, that's why he sat the bench all year, to play in the playoffs. So F-ing use him!! This is getting ridiculous

I smell an upset and Hawks will win this series.... I know this Boston Celtics blueprint, its the same as the NBA finals last year how they get rattled at crucial minutes... For me Miami still has the best basketball winning culture team. And Boston with a loaded roster they always do the same bonehead plays when it matters.... They where just lucky Jimmy Butler missed the last shot last season but that final minutes they where already choking. Hawks in 7 and Sixers or Heat in the NBA finals.

And I don't think this coach can press the right buttons to get this team dialed in when they need to be... They fart around with inferior teams like the Hawks and now this series is probably going to go seven which means Philly is going to be so well rested by the time the next series starts. And even though Boston is young, they're going to get tired at some point in that series

I am worried because this isnt a issue like everyone think!! This isnt lack if respect for opponent or some simple fix!!! Thus is a fundamentals issue!! up by 10 3 mins left chucking up threes like they curry !!! or the chronic ovver dribbling up and down the dam court!!! the sloppy passing all of it!! Its a fundamentals issue!! They havent fixed it since last year why? because they haven’t recognized the problem!!! To me thats is most concerning!!! Because they may get through hawks sure but they WILL not get away with this stuff against higher competition aka sixers bucks heat!! Pheonix lakers warriors!! They willl have not shot at beating under these circumstances!!! They need balll movement everywhere stop over dribbling!! they ALL doo it!!! they need to learn how to ply with a lead up by ten late in games you need to drive to basket and keep drawing fouls or at least find the easy buckets!! They need to stop the sloppy lob passes that keep getting picked off because there is no force behind them!! Too many issues to count and they haven’t recognized one of them in two years!!!! Concerned celtic fan here!

Get back on DEFENSE and stop crying about every foul, JT. He may not realize it but if ur thinking abt fouls, that means ur not locked in. Stop being so sensitive. When the win is on the line, you need to be worrying about stops and scoring. Everything else is an afterthought. I know these days getting to the line a lot is part of the playbook but you will never be able to argue ur way in or out of a call from a ref. Control what you can. Control your mind.

He’s too relaxed does he not want the ring? The way he played last night. He was not focused whatsoever. He shot 11 3s and only made 1. He started off like 0-5 from 3 and he kept shooting them. Someone needs to get fired bcuz they are hurting his game. He doesn’t drive enough or shoot middys. He’s didn’t even help JB he actually hurt him by shooting 11 3s
