Sorry but rap listeners have no clue what real music is, but look at reaction when they do, its like they realize they been paying for what it should be called CRAP a beat box and some stupid rhyme is not music or does not take talent as shown by the millions of people who call themselves rappers. Most could not sing doubt any but a handful ever played a instrument and bet most cannot read or write a note of music as all they do is fire up a beat box and spit out rhymes that are senseless but it rhymes so it is rap bahahahahahhahaha

@@bob5074 Christianity is an inherently violent, supremacist religion. They have no tolerance or interest in your interpretation, but will gladly write laws to restrict your life. As a child, I was forced to sit through an entire sermon on the multitude of supposed satanic references in this song. Btw, “There’s still time to change the road you’re on” 100% sounds like “here’s to my sweet satan” when played backwards.
@bob5074
@bob5074 3 жыл бұрын
@@BDogg2023 you must be talking about Christianity before the New Testament...I’m not religious btw...Christians generally turn the other cheek, although all religions have their zealots...I was talking about Islam. Islam won’t change because their book is the final word of god and they can’t have a New Testament. Christians definitely try to get others to join their religion, but Muslims do that by the sword...you should maybe not be mad at the sermon, but mad at the person that made you sit through it.

I’m an old white guy but watching these guys get increasingly swept away by the music as the song crescendos made me feel a real connection and kinship with them. I know that’s crazy because we’re probably light years away from each other in just about every category imaginable but as I watched this I felt a real connection with them. I guess it’s the feeling of a shared meaningful experience. Makes me realize how much all of us probably have in common at our core. Thank you for sharing this video I really enjoyed it.

I was blessed to have had two older brothers and I saw LED ZEPPELIN LIVE IN CONCERT! It makes me feel so happy to see someone listening to one of Rock &Rolls Greatest Athems for the first time. I smiled when they smiled it was like going back to 1971 again. Robert Plant, John Bonham, John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page were LED ZEPPELIN! LED ZEPPELIN'S SOUND WAS ALL THEIR OWN IT TOOK YOU PLACES AND MADE YOU FEEL SOMETHING DIFFERENT EACH AND EVERYTIME YOU LISTEN TO ONE OF THEIR SONGS. THESE YOUNG MEN NEED TO LISTEN TO ZEPPELIN'S WHOLE CATALOG LIKE, "BLACK DOG" "WHOLE LOTTA LOVE" ROCK&ROLL"" THE RAIN SONG"" THE OCEAN "ECT... 👏✌️ ENOUGH SAID!!! ✌️

I don't have to imagine it. I bought this album the day came out. It's hard to describe in words what it was like back then. There was wave after wave of never-before-heard styles of music. They just appeared like magic out of nowhere. It was visceral you could feel it, brand new nothing like it ever before. I said it was difficult to put into words cuz I still haven't done it.

It’s deff Top 5. It’s the best from Led, but you also have Queen, The Who, The Beatles, AC/DC, and the likes of Pink Floyd. There’s so many bands that have beautiful songs. It’s so hard to narrow it down to which is just the best. Yes in the digital era you can look at the streams and how many likes and dislikes or look at total record sold since release, but it’s more then just that. It’s what the song means to the individual listeners. With each band having such a wide spread fan base across multiple generations it’s makes it nearly impossible in all honesty to say one song is the best. Now don’t @ me saying I hate this song. That’s is FAR from the truth. This is in my top 25 played, and I binged Skrillex in High School and Broadway come college. Just my two cents.

@@billrobertjoe I know. And I don't want to get too deep into this subject but, through his books, other written works, many English Rock Bands were influenced by his theosophy and when Jimmy Page bought Boleskine House Manor in early 1970's, "the hanging" out of English Rock Bands exchanged Crowley's occultism ideas. The link is a list of the Bands Crowley influenced. Some Background: The Boleskine House is a manor on the south-east side of Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands. It is notable for having been the home of author and occultist Aleister Crowley, and Led Zeppelin guitarist and producer Jimmy Page. Crowley became infamous for stories of conducting black magic and various other rituals while residing at the house; one of his pseudonyms was "Lord Boleskine". His lodge keeper, Hugh Gillies, suffered a number of personal tragedies, including the loss of two children. Okay, true story: I went to high school in the 80's in New Jersey, and EVERY SINGLE high school dance ended with this song. You knew before you even showed up to the dance who you were going to dance with to this song at the end of the night. How you knew the dance was about to end was, this song would come on, and you'd go find that person and dance with them to this song. Whenever I hear this song, I get a strong olfactory memory of what it smelled like to rest my head on the shoulder of my high school boyfriend: what his tee shirt smelled like, what his hair smelled like, what his skin smelled like, the whole thing. I think this tradition had been in place at that school for at least ten years before I got there. UNTIL. Until this one time, some club or sport or whatever sponsored a dance at the high school, and they must have hired a DJ that had never DJ'ed a dance at our school before, because he ended the dance with a completely different song. THE WRONG SONG. So NONE of us knew that the dance was about to end. That song ended, and when another song didn't come on, we all just stood there on the dance floor confused. We figured it was some sort of technical problem with the turntables or something, so we just stood there and waited. And then the DJ was like, "Thanks everybody for coming, I hope you had a great night, blah blah blah," and we went into a state of deep shock. We couldn't believe the dance was over. We just stood three on the floor of the high school gym in the dark, confused, not knowing what to do. We figured it had to be some sort of prank, and if we just waited, he'd play Stairway to Heaven. BUT HE DID NOT. And then THE LIGHTS CAME ON. We were, like, traumatized. We stood there looking around at each other like, WTF IS HAPPENING? Until finally we had to accept our reality, that this dude had violated the most sacred tradition of the the high school dance, and one by one, we slowly walked out, speechless. That's how important this song was to us.

There is a reason why songs and bands like this have endured for decades and are STILL being loved and enjoyed by even the younger generations now. Reminds me of what Tom Holland's Spider-Man said in "Far from Home" when he was on the plane making his new suit and happy said "You take care of the suit, I'll take care of the music" He then puts on what Peter either thought was zeppelin but was ACTUALLY AC/DC lol. He really was one of the greatest composers of the century, too. Think about all the guitar parts he wrote, original stuff like this. He wrote so many guitar riffs and songs that no one can say he ripped off from blues legends. Led Zeppelin I and II were full of blues riffs and lyrics from the blues masters but the rest of their catalog is amazingly original and creative. Legendary.

1. Jimmy Page - One of the best guitarists in Rock history. 2. John Paul Jones - One of the best Bassists in Rock history. 3. John Henry Bonham - One of the best Drummers in Rock history. 4. Robert Plant - One of the best vocalists in Rock history! 1+2+3+4= One of the best bands in Rock history!

Considering that Jimmy's solo has regularly been considered the #1 solo in the history of hard rock, you're among the vast number of people who've heard it over the last five decades and have been impressed. Great music withstands time. Not many things in life do.

This song IS my STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN! You should check out Kennedy Center Honors tribute to Led Zeppelin-the whole LZ part..but ESPECIALLY 'Heart' doing this song w/John Bonham's son, Jason on drums. KILLER VERSION..think I love it even more. Gives me chills EVERYTIME I listen + watch it. Impressed Led Zepplin themselves!! Most played song on the radio...

In the 60's there was the Beatles. They changed music. Never, ever will we have a band like them. The Beatles parted ways in 1970 and passed the torch to Led Zeppelin ushering in a new era. The music was different from the 60's and defined the 70's and they were just as great. Unfortunately, 1980 came and the mighty Zep came to an end with the death of their drummer, John Bonham. The torch went out. There will never again be bands like The Beatles and Led Zeppelin.

@@joanies6778 Yes, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant were in the balcony at the Kennedy Center performance of Stairway to Heaven but John Paul Jones was also there. He was the one closest to the camera. I'm sure the spirit of Bonham was there as well (if not in the balcony, through his son, Jason's drumming).

Did anyone ever really figure out what the hell that song meant. I always felt that the Band leaned heavily into Tolkein esque genre lyrics, for much of their music.
