Before I bought this special screwdriver, I tried a slotted screwdriver 1.5mm, it's can not fit it, but almost the same size. So I finally found the size that should be : Triangle Screwdriver TA1.4mm Good video, now I can use my headset again, thanks

Is detaching the piece from the headband (with the triangular screws) really needed? Couldn't someone skip that step, pry open the circular plastic piece and get inside?

Can't thank you enough for this information. The construction of these headset are pretty solid. But maybe they are somewhat overpriced. They are in fact very sweat resistant also. I sweat a lot (working out), and I have never had any problems with the headset due to moisture.

Is there a way of complete disassembly of JBL E65BTNC without cutting or breaking anything? I need to open them up as one of the wires somehow got cut in half and my right side doesn't work anymore and I'm out of warranty since last year. How did you do it? Or how did anyone do it? Please, it would help me a lot if you have any tips regarding the teardown of these headphones.
