This is a really cool trap. It's a nice way to get rid of pests in your house without hurting or killing them. All you have to do is take the bucket outside and let them free. No death involved.

Knew a guy that had some sort of a mouse trap that launched the critter over 50 foot into the woods. Not sure how it worked but sounded like there was air pressure since I could hear it from my yard.

You would probably want to kill them, but I don't know if the spikes would kill them or not. They would if the spikes were sharp enough and the drop was far enough, it would be a mess to clean up though, You could take the trap outside and hose it out good I guess. I think probably the traps that electrocute them might be best, I don't know. Thankfully I don't have a problem with rodents around here.

Try putting Popsicle sticks under the paper that is hovering over the bin, it will make the structure seem more stable so they will trust it. Then... BAM. Hahaha.

the mouse didn't drown, there was just enough water in the bucket to prevent it from jumping out, as you can see, comparing the trash can/counter to the mouse, it is a rather large mouse. My guess is it is a pet which he uses for the videos. Rodents are rather clever and learn from mistakes and their environment, so the more clever they become, the more creative you'll have to get with your traps

Use a metal garbage can and instead of water use gasoline. Do it repeatedly until you have more than 4 in the can if they don't die for swallowing gasoline either way it'll be easier to kill them. Just fire with it. ;)
