JD's Garage's DIY CNC Plasma Cutter Table Build

I bought JD's Garage's plans to build a CNC plasma cutting table. Their plans are very thorough and include an excellent parts list. I use their 1:1 printable templates to cut out parts. I purchased their 3D printed parts they offer on their website. I made a few mistakes along the way, but this is a doable project that will save you money over buying a table.
I use a free version of Autodesk to draw parts. I use OpenBuilds free software for G-Code to control the CNC. I am using my YesWelder 65-DS plasma cutter.

I enjoyed building this. If you use the 1:1 templates, double-check that they print correctly sized. For some reason my X axis motor plate printed too small. My Y axis was fine. Thanks for watching.

Great video! You made the construction look straight forward and doable! I'm looking to build the same CNC table from JD's. What did the whole project cost you, outside of the plasma cutter itself? Cheers

I struggled a bit with the instructions. They are very thorough, but if you look closely, some of my frame has extra holes where I wasn't paying close attention to the instructions. Cost wise, I still need to add it up. I was higher than JD's, but haven't added it all up yet. I'll do a short video on that soon. Thanks for watching.

Lol. I did the same thing. I have speed holes in my x axis. I drilled it like a 3rd rail because it was the same length

Building mine now. Cant find where to drill the holes for the frame and legs into bottom tube for the y axis.?

I think it might have been easier. However, I didn't have access to a CNC prior to building this one. I plan to draw up the motor plates and cut them out with this CNC. Thanks.

@@rustedroostershop You will be amazed when you made parts with CNC. Accuracy is much much better and you will be able to make almost anything you draw. That's give much more freedom in design. Keep good work. I wait to see your next video making motor plates.
