The base is her telekinetic power, not fire. There are rocks floating in it and it’s lifting her up and it’s pink like in the comics.

Nice Jean Grey, statue. She looks way better without the flames on her shoulders along with both of her hands that are inflamed as well when the colors don't even match with the pink and white flames. With that clean look without the flames looks even better especially the early '90's, Jim Lee's, X-Men yellow and blue uniform she wears, iconic and clean. Cool statue.

Her face is gorgeous. I hate that her head is so severely turned to the right. Would have preferred her looking straight ahead to convey that she was in the process of taking flight. I really want to get her but I’m tight in money.

You are right about the bases but I like having the females together, mine came in yesterday and I have Jean, Emma, x23, psylocke, mystic and domino all together and I think it looks hot lol. I'm going to display the flames cause I also prefer that portrait.

I like the pink tendrils of her telekinetic power, it looks good on the base. I think they should've added more rocks towards the top of the pink tendrils though. Oh yeah this piece has a little Bowen feel too it.

Jean was displayed with Cyclops at NYCC not Cable. SDCC was the one that had Cable. Also, I love how you removed her left flame hand and placed it on her right arm lol, quick edit fixed it 😉 you are getting lots of views now CONGRATS BRO!!!

Good idea with the flames mate. While I was listening to you I was about to comment the same thing. Just send it to Lewis or any good painter in the groups, I think it's an easy fix(and I think it will add to the resale value too)

Great statue. Would have loved to have seen the exclusive have the animated series hair with the pony tail.

This statue smacks of the original plan being bigger resin pieces that encircle the figure more and key into the base but they ran out of time or changed sculptors or something and that's why the shoulder and hand flames are attached to anything and why the base has those weird seams. Just a thought.

I just got mine but the seams are really bad. Worse part is if parts are permanent there shouldn't be seams. If it wasn't for the Jim Lee-esque proportions and excellent portrait I would have returned this.

If you’re never gonna display it anyway, might as well do it. Question for you about this collection as a whole. So I’m waitlisted for Juggs EX, do you know offhand if they’ve all shipped from SS becuase I don’t think it falls off your waitlist when it’s sold out. I know it’s only 400 but it was too rich for my blood at the time. I know it’s not really an “EX or fail” but would love the ex if it’s around.

Agree with you that they should have made them more individually unique to the character and their classic identifiable power characteristics BUT seeing it here now she's a bad one and they did the faces and hair on point from what it looks like. Just a thought but those seems may be due to the size of the casting...cutting down the mold cost by doing it in smaller sep pieces and attaching them later rather than the added work of magnets designed in and attached and arranging the packaging for shipping. Un-attached pieces is more detailed packaging and risk than one piece constructs wrapped and surrounded in foam.

Looks better than the initial images, but I still prefer the og SS premium format Jean. You can tell this was sculpted by the guy that did cyclops, and that is a weak piece to me. I hope they get the guy that did rogue and gambit to do a Bishop, archangel, or Nightcrawler

The collectors edition is best for me, really don't like the 'flame collar' on the exclusive, It looks naff! Cool review dude 8-)

My boi, Gem, does it look like the shoulder flames can be taken off easily? I don't like them and was wondering if they look like they can be snapped off?

What's the deal with all those seams, I have not noticed them previously but since you point them they look really odd, but anyway statue really looks great and the portraits are spot on IMO. And as you said flame color should have been matched but it is something I can live with.
