Damn, I didn't know how much I needed Iggy Pop singing a Joy Divison song until now!

A dream combo. Especially as Ian Curtis was so influenced by the Idiot album.

My jaw is on the floor. My cynicism is gone. I'm like a ten-year-old kid who's just seen Superman and Spider-Man on the cover of a comic book, or some other unthinkable crossover (back in the days when super-hero crossovers were unthinkable). "Geeking out" doesn't begin to describe it. Just watched this twice.

If only Ian could've been there with them

Even on stage they mute the bass. Bring back hooky.

Who would've thought..but then again The Idiot was on Ian Curtiss turntable when he died. I'm sure wherever he is he is pleased

I only know it off Lost Siren's, one of the later New Order albums, I never heard it as a Joy Division song.

I always find Bernie’s dancing quite funny.

What about Phil and Bernard? This reminds me of Peter Murphy's collab with Trent Reznor from NIN. And at one point (1:30) Iggy starts in on his own "Metallic KO" dead fly dance, **boggle**...

Sounds like early Warsaw-recordings out of their rehearsal room. But no more than a silly act! No spirit of Ian! Iggy seems foolish!

This sounds so much better than that rubbish band that Peter Hook brings to Australia doing these sort of cover versions !
