Don't be fooled by the 100k price tag if these machines, it is just a Jeep Wrangler with a V8. I hope to educate the soon to be new Jeep Wrangler Customers so you know what to expect. I knew what I was getting into from the beginning but the average customer had no idea what the are singing up for. Even as a Mopar man some of this issues are just ridiculous almost as ridiculous as a V8 in this metal box we calla wrangler. Let me know what you take is on this machine after this in-depth long term review that is definitely going to upset a few choice types of people. If you guys are interested in the floor mats you see in mine or the pods you that I installed in a previous video I will drop my discount code bellow for Lasfit accessories Godspeed10 at lddy.no/150ha If you need a lift use my skyjacker suspensions discount code below, DAAQZD5NBDY Jesus forgives rocks don't. The tick you're referring to is not a Hemi tick. The down pipe and cat are dissimilar metals and expand at different rates. As the expansion equalizes the sound goes away which happens 90 sec or less. In 2022, they added a second stitch across the bottom seat cushions on the front seats to prevent the leather from bubbling like the 21's. The dealer will also replace your engine cover. When a few owners began seeing this issue, Jeep requested one be sent back to engineering to determine the cause to eliminate the problem. As far a fuel economy, I took a trip from FL to PA and averaged 19.5 mpg. To say I was ecstatic would be an understatement! It simply boils down to having to pay to play. If you hammer on her all the time or let it idle you will be rewarded with an emptier wallet lol.

That’s impressive and I like your wording! I am definitely interested in getting the seat fixed. I am familiar with the real hemi tick so I used quotations when describing what 99% of customers assume is the so-called hemi tick. I hope you keep watching these videos and help me on some of these overlooked topics! Godspeed brother!

@@GodspeedZRZ Speaking of the tick... I just watched a video from Thunder Bear 4WD and he had issue when he remote started his 392, ended up being a warranty issue about lifters hitting and needing replaced. Looking into buying a 392 so doing my research on issues, defect and problems arising with the 382 before I definitely 'invest' in buying one.

Hey Bud, I have seen you on the Jeep 392 Forum, you have some great videos. Only had my 23 392 since January less than 4000 miles, the Tick is my only complaint. I have had many jeeps since the 80's all 2 doors but I wanted a 392 since they announced it. The Tick is driving me crazy, I have a Magnaflow Rock Crawler Exhaust I just picked up and hoping I can find out where the Tick is coming from. Before you replace your speakers know this. I thought my overhead speakers were blown. After dismantling the speakers and playing them loud and outside of the enclosure with no distortion, I realized that the 'distortion' sound was actually coming from the plastic enclosure, sorta. The top of the soundbar's enclosure was very close to the bottom metal rollbar/frame, like an 8th of an inch away. On certain bass notes the enclosure will vibrate & flex and hit the metal. I simply stuffed some foam padding up there in between the two and have not had an issue since. :)

Sorry you have had a bad experience. My 392 just hit 22000 miles. No issues and manage 18mpg on the open hwy 12-14 in town enjoying the exhaust but I didn’t buy it for gas mileage lol. Even though it gets better than my 14 jk that had 35s and 5:13 gears. Love it so much bought my wife a tuscadero pink Extreme recon package. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it next. I waited a long time for Jeep to put a v8 back in this style. It’s a long way from the 77 cj5 I had back in the day that had the factory v8. If my jeep was quiet and didn’t have wind noise it wouldn’t seem like a jeep lol. Eventually I will go full soft top for mine and probably run it all the time. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the great content.

@@GodspeedZRZ Overpriced but still worth it? If it is worth it wouldn't it be considered not over priced? I want to get off ancient toxic internal combustion engines ASAP. I am 65 and felt petroleum fuel was a rip off and toxic for the world at 16 years old! I have hated the fuel source for 50 years. Finally a way out from supporting big Oil thank God! own a 99 Jeep Cherokee Sport. I purchased for just over $20K new in 99 had it rust proofed and it is in great shape. Dumped about $10K in off road upgrades and it does can go where a new Jeep can go. I will probably keep it for a couple more years being it isn't a daily driver anymore so the cost of fuel though a rip off isn't effecting me as much anymore. I am not totally sold on all electric for offroad thus looking now at the new Toyota 2024 Hybrid Land Cruiser or the New 2024 Hybrid Tacoma. I also have a deposit on a Cyber Truck. New Jeep is out for me. Too old of technology and too high of cost for what one gets in my opinion.

Hi man i may be wrong but generally speaking the “HEMI”s that are put in the more modern dodge jeep ram and Chrysler vehicles haven’t been true hemi’s for a real long time the ticking is often due to some other smaller issue as everything nowadays is designed to be sacrificial on modern cars and eventually fail as they can then charge you more for maintenance and repairs

You may want to research corrosion issues on the JL before dumping even more money into this problem box. There is a class-action lawsuit for corrosion on the doors, fenders and hood, usually starting at the hinges or edges of the doors, causing the paint to blister and fall off on vehicles as new as 2020. Hopefully the manufacturer has addressed the issue on 21 & 22 JLs. Time will tell.

The nit picking is real. Idk how someone pays 100k for one. My first 392 was 70k and my second one is 75k for 2023. You'll be able to find an issue on any vehicle, not that jeep couldn't be better but come on.

Who the hell buys a 392 and is upset about fuel economy. I hat do you expect with almost 500hp V8 I didn’t buy either of my SRT 392s or hellcats and thought dam this this sure sucks the fuel. If you can afford things like that and have to worry about putting fuel in it you have stretched yourself too thin. Maybe should have got a 4XE. Just saying

Even if you’re ok with the fuel economy, no one should be ok with the range. 250 miles on a tank makes fill ups way to often, and would give me range anxiety on long stretches of open highways. A larger tank would have been nice.
@GodspeedZRZ
@GodspeedZRZ Жыл бұрын
@@robc233 It would be nice but it would weigh it down and there isn’t any extra room for more fuel. Luckily it’s not an ev and there are gas stations about every 15- 20 miles. Godspeed brother!
