This wasn't even a fair fight. JD KILLED it! Their sound was crisp and clear and their Drum Majors were clean!

I love how Jeff Davis drum majors perform and just walk away slowly like they didn’t just wreck the scene.

It's still hard to believe these are two High School bands, not an HBCU band. Both still very talented.

I like myself a white person that can successfully respect and coexist with deep tradition rooted within black communities. And damn, the drum major to the right has some burning energy!

High school marching bands are so popular in the South and Midwest. Always so talented.

Every step Justin and his team make have meaning. Winner is clear, but so much fun to watch!

Jeff Davis is one of my all time favorite southern high school bands. Everything they play just makes me want to get down and dance xD. They also play so well together with crisp clear sound.

Jefferson Davis High had it all the way they came, they saw,they conquered and Justin has some naturally god-gifted moves he came to represent and made his school proud 😲😊🃏🕺🎺🎷🎶

JD's sound is amazing for a high school band. The first time I ever heard them, I thought they were a college band.

Props to both schools... each should be proud.. both demonstrate strong esperit de corps and the things that make our nation great. I wish each individual student at both schools nothing but success, happiness, and a long good life. Stay true to the values you have learned and always look after one another other with open hearts... you are this nations future.

respect to the teachers and students, i find it fascinating how disciplined and ingenious they all are. I didn't like marching and brass music, I love it with you guys.

They are so precise in their movements. It takes a remarkable devotion to the team to perform like this. Both bands are good, but JD is just on a whole different level. It is like watching a great ballet. I’d love to see them in person.

My high school band didn’t even have as many members or played as well as either of these bands. But I do know a trumpet player in our band who became famous and was in a band on a tv show.

The DMs are great. But it's the band that is the backbone with that big ballsy sound that makes this awesome. Love it! Yeah, it's a dirty in a few places, but these kids are YAKKING! A BIG salute to the students, band director and instructors for putting this together. Looking forward to seeing more. A fan from Maryland.

J D, all the way. To the ones out there putting these young people down,and talking bad about the young white student. I am sure that he earned his position as did the others. They could have been doing other things with their lives , such as jail, drugs etc. They are enjoying their young lives. If you can't say something nice, please be respectful and keep your nastiness to yourself. Some of the disrespect is probably coming out of envy and jealousy.
