You guys are awesome and I’m so glad you covered Jeff. Couple of things I want to mention as a Jeff Gordon and NASCAR fan.. -Jeff was a big reason why Jimmie found his way into NASCAR -Jeff also co-owned Jimmie Johnson’s car with Rick Hendrick -The Chase format didn’t change to the eliminating style until 2014. Previous years they had a sort of 10 race shootout to decide the champion at the end of the season

The HANS device wasn't actually mandated until the death of Blaise Alexander in October of 01. Alexander was a close friend of Jimmie Johnson, who had a decal in memory of Alexander put on his cars.

i miss the facecams :( it feels like Past Gas has turned into something for fun rather than a donut property. idk it just feels extremely impersonal now with the exact same face icons every episode.
