When I was just a broke piece of shit teenager runnin around Nashville, Jellyroll was a name that carried Legend status among dopeboys. Him and Haystack ran the streets, and they were really in the hood and bout the life so you never wanted to talk shit bc you could pulled up on and embarrassed. It's my nature to be bitter and a hater, but I have NOTHING but love and respect for Jellyroll and Struggle both.

I can totally relate to you with that one. Am the only surviver out of four children born to my parents. I'm 42 now but still feel like I continue to need them, to have that connection that siblings have between them. I miss my brother and sisters terribly and although I have my own family now (husband of 22 years and 3 adult sons), I still find myself feeling quite lonely on regular occasion. I listen to Jelly Roll and it's almost like the beat of his music pounds away at that loneliness, while his soothing voice just rinses it away... That's the best way I can describe my Jelly Roll experience.

If your god is real he's a major asshole for creating shit like addiction.
@cherylpennerplaisance2433 жыл бұрын
@@CIARUNSITE Addiction was created by man. Man was created by God, but was given the freedom of will. Man made addictions and man made problems are things that our mighty creator can help us to comeback from, as long as we follow his word faithfully... Then again, if we were all faithful within the words given to us by our creator, none of us would have any problems at all for we'd be blessed and we'd have no sins to begin with... Not very likely, is it? What's the point of anything if we're not given the free will to choose between right or wrong... Life would be too boring cuz we'd all know what to expect all the time... I don't know about you guys, but I don't care for repetitive situations on a daily basis... Yeah, what I said up there! LOL Sorry about the long rant y'all. Not sure where it came from... 😳

Back in 2009 Roll put on a show at 527 in Murfreesboro TN and absolutely blew the roof off the place for about 14 people. The 14 knew he was destined for fame. We hung out at the bowling alley and drank crown at my house several times after that. My brother got killed a few weeks later and Jelly drove 2 hours to a funeral of guy he'd only met a handful of times. The way he portrays himself now is real and how he's always been any of the times we hung out. Very kind , charismatic, and funny as hell.

Jelly roll man, you met me in Little Rock Arkansas, I was going thru some shit addiction to fentanyl and wanting to kill myself everyday to escape the pain I was living, you talked to me like a normal person and it saved my life. You didn’t know me and probably don’t even remember me but thank you, that was 5-6 years ago I’m proud to say I’m 2 years solid clean I wish I could say 5-6 years but I had a few slip ups along the way. But ur my hero jelly I hope now that I’m clean when I see you come to Arkansas again I’ll be able to see you live and possibly speak to you to tell you in person that you helped turn my life around

Old school jelly!!! Going through a rough time at this moment. Crying damn near every day. And once again I resort to jelly for my problems. He speaks from the heart, he speaks on past moments, he by far is one of the best rappers. I hate I gave my ex my tickets but I couldnt go and see her. Anyways jelly is by far my favorite, 90% of my playlist is jelly. He has helped me through some hard times and once again he is right there. Keep it up jelly from a die hard fan!!!

Asking for a friend…. Are you trying to be a comedian or is profiling part of your narrow minded nature?!? Why does it matter what someone making a chart classifies his music?!? as?!? Country? Gospel? I guess that would depend on your definition of those words… I thought a song had to have a fiddle playing in it to be considered country?!? Why does it matter that a female who believes in Jesus Christ and has kids that play sports is listening to his music?!? I was much more one 12 years ago than I am today and I listen to Jelly as much now as I did then! #lastofadyingbreed 🎶🙏🏼❤
