Oddly, many of the characters work better as girls. Like Jabberjaw goes from a male Curly Howard parody, to a silly, yet sweet natured, female. I kinda like the joke that a shark can be so nice.

Indeed! Aside from The Flintstones, The Jetsons, and Scooby-Doo, most of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons were sausage fests, so I'm kinda glad we got lady versions of some of HB's characters.

I know these characters had there own show in the old days. In Harvey birdman, peter love to get with women. They started off this scene telling peter girls will like him.
