He wore his body down skating and doing jackass stunts. It's easy to say he should have kept putting out video parts but he always skated just because he loved it, I don't think he ever really took being a pro seriously.

I first saw bam ride almost 20years ago. Now that it’s almost 20 years later he still impresses me with old footage. Skating will never be like it was in late 90s early 2000s best time in my opinion. Never realize what a good time period it really was til seeing it again on video. 🤙🤙🤙

Back when skate parts/videos were just about having fun. So much progression and flow, solely because of the love for riding. Man. . .this makes me realize how fast everything changes. Nostalgic all in all though, this made me feel like a giddy kid again.

Greatest Bam skate edit I've seen. 10/10. The only thing missing is the huge kickflip at FDR park from his 2002 Adio part. "Philly Park" was his bitch. Too bad all the alcohol and being around Novak derailed everything. Dunn's death was the nail in the coffin.

I always had a Sony handy cam It was an extension of my arm I filmed everything I love going back and seeing how simplistic it was but also knowing what a profound impact it had on me watching what cky and skateboarding had during this time. Almost. But now, being underground and slowly coming back, we have a past. We have a story. Absolutely nothing but mad respect to people like this, to these legends. You can call us gay if you want to; if you want to be stuck in the same era you blame us for being stuck in. If you're a badass on wheels, you're a fucking badass on wheels. Except for scooters.

Bam/cky/jackass was huge in my little town growing up we all skated, wore Adios or DC's, threw snowballs at cars, started fake fights, ran/hid from the cops. It was absolutely amazing, I wouldn't trade those memories for the world.
