This guy keeps winning,... but they are allowing him to break the rules to do it. He is smart and quick, yes. However he phrases, his reply answer wrong almost every time!!!!! He says... what's this... name, when it's supposed to be... who is!!!!!!!!!... and they let him do it, and get away with it!? Instead of stopping and talking him!? If everybody answered in that way... they would be shot. If they made him do it right, it would be his Achilles heel! LOL! Cuz his brain would get mixed up. And it will slow him down. Alex is turning over in his grave!

@@lloydbishun9584 lmao settle down. Of course matt knows how to do it right and if the show enforced it he would do it and be fine. But matt said the show never enforces this fake rule. You dont actually have to answer in a specific way as long as the answer is presented as a question, which he does. So he said he noticed they dont enforce it so he took advantage of that. And he has said it helps him to keep it simple. If this was a real rule the show would have kicked him off long ago but its not.

@@trenken okay, but I've been watching this many years now. And you and I at least I seem to recall Alex stopping people and saying... you wrong!!!!!! Will docunow for phrasing the question the wrong way! Or did they just start doing it now after Alex? Also the elephant in the room is... I see everybody... else being prim and proper, and going through the motions of by that rule!?... this could mean Matt is a dumb kid? LMAO.

Yeah, well this game was insanely impressive. I read it was the fifth best jeopardy game every played in terms of coryat. The guy has been on fire this week. Amazing to watch.

Ken Jennings is hosting Jeopardy in November .. just a few weeks away. Will be interesting to see the dynamics between Ken and Matt if Matt is still winning. Matt is Kens only competition to win most games right now.

@@patrickperry8951 Yeah, but Wednesday's game was an outlier and the only other two instances happened earlier in his run. But with the exception of Wednesday's game this week, he's won $50K+ in every single game he's played since his 30th.

Yes, James Holzhauer started that strategy. If you didn't already know James was on The Chase before he was on Jeopardy and his team beat "The Beast"! I was lucky enough to watch that episode(in reruns) before he was on Jeopardy, thought he was a wiz then!!

I knew the correct response to this clue once I saw it!!!! I knew that it was "What was a platypus?" I knew it from Phineas and Ferb: at the end of the episode, "Where's Perry? Part 2", Ferb actually pointed out George Shaw writing the first description of the platypus! Thank you Phineas and Ferb!!!! 😀

Matt Amodio has crossed the halfway point to tying Ken Jennings’ winning streak of 74 wins. Used to say that no one has ever won half as many games as Ken Jennings. Can’t say that anymore😅. By now, it’s safe to say that even after taxes, Matt will still be going home a millionaire!

I really like Mayim Bialik hosting Jeopardy. She has extensive acting experience: something that Ken Jennings just didn't have. >>> Mayim looks relaxed, confident, and acts like a real, welcoming "hostess" (host) to her guests (contestants). >>>That is a winning combination, in my opinion. (And, earning up to 18 million dollars a year, as host, ain't bad, either!)

I am a long-time Watcher of Jeopardy. I personally think it was a mistake not to put a limit on the number of times one contestant can win. I feel like I'm watching the Matt amodeo show rather than Jeopardy. I am about ready to give it up. I wonder if Alex would have let him get away with one word answers? I appreciate his knowledge but would have appreciated it at 30 games or two games
